I would argue ONLY advantage GGG has is Power...

Golovkin better footwork, stamina, chin, power, craftiness, ring IQ.

 

Also better left hook, better footwork and better chin. Maybe a slight edge in stamina as well.

 

If we're talking about a prime GGG then stamina would have been a huge advantage for him. He unleashed an absolute avalanche of power punches years ago against Curtis Stevens. Now at 35 though the workrate has dipped off.

 

Slightly. He abandoned his jab against Jabobs in some of the rounds, but he was still consistent with it, well above average. If you watch his fight against Ouma, he was showing similar weaknesses 6 years ago. The reason why he was less agressive against Jacobs was because he respected Danny's power, not because he got old overnight.

 

I agree that Danny's power was a big factor in Jacobs boxing cautiously, but Canelo is not a power puncher. But yea, as far as the workrate goes, GGG doesn't have the same tank that he used to.

You think he has better defense because he is a counterpuncher, pressure fighters like GGG takes more risk. That come foward style makes people think GGG has no defense, Canelo meanwhile he lands countershots while he keeps his hands high

 

You forgot respecting box; GGG respects box much better.

 

Canelo's footspeed is slow but his hand speed is a lot faster than GGG IMO. I think Canelo is also slicker and slips punches and uses better head movement. GGG has a better jab, cuts the ring off better, and hits harder. I don't think he has no defense, and I wouldn't say Canelo's defense is a lot better either I just think he slips punches better and has better headmovement.
