    Better and greater are two different things, Salvador Sanchez is better and greater. King of calmness - haven't seen another calm boxer other than Monzon. Calculated counterpuncher.

    I honestly don't know enough about the guys Sanchez beat to say who's greater. I obviously know Gomez which is pretty much the fight most of his more casual fans know about. I'd need a history lesson on his other wins like Lopez and Castillo to see where I rate his greatness. As far as skill Sanchez from the fights I've seen, Sanchez seemed like a far more complete and skilled fighter. As far as greatness Marquez is a multiple weight champion and his win/wins over Pac trumps anything Sanchez did imo.

    Marquez accomplished more, Sanchez is the better fighter.
    Both beat 2 ATG in nelson, Gomez and Barrera, Pac.

    Sanchez beat the greatest Puerto Rican and the greatest African fighters of all time. Sanchez was on a different level than Marquez. There's a reason why even Chavez Sr. always said he wasn't the greatest Mexican fighter of all time, and I don't think he was just being modest.

    I'd take Salvador Sanchez to put Manny and Marquez to sleep big time. Sanchez beat a very good fighter in Azumah Nelson and the eye test says he's better

    If poor Sanchez didn't had that accident at a very young age he could've pass Chavez, at this stage he's close with Chavez and above Marquez
