I feel Kov`s punches would knock out Moorer at heavy, Moorer was often out of condition and that effects punch resistance, I also feel the right hand that hurt Kov from Ward to put him in trouble in the round that he stopped him would put Moorer away at heavy plus he couldn`t take the body shot that ended the fight because his abs were soft at heavy. (don`t know whether his balls were as soft though! LOL!). Kov vs Jones at heavy would have been interesting also and Toney vs Kov at either LHW CW or HW! What does anyone think? Does anyone know anything scientific about why heavies take shots better?!
Moorer was hurt by Frankie Swindell at light heavy, Swindell didn`t punch with the power and timing of Kov!
Kovs a long range decent puncher, and just because Moorer got hurt by Swindell, its got zero bearing on Kov v Moorer...Moorer to turn it up, go rough if hes catching too much long range and stop Kov eventually
Kov is not a devastating puncher at all, good solid long range puncher...Accumulation not one punch !
I think that this would have been a very decent scrap while it lasted. Have to lean towards Moorer as the naturally heavier guy, and the fact that whatever his stamina problems, Kovalev's have been looking worse lately. He was whitewashing Ward and simply couldn't keep up the pace against a tough opponent that threw back. I believe that this would fit the description of MM.
LOL! Cooper`s hook was lethal and would have knocked Moorer out cold! Ali was a lot heavier when he fought Foreman so he could take the shots better and he caught most of the shots on his gloves, he was messing about talking to Liz Taylor at ringside when Cooper caught him it`s the blows you don`t see that do the most damage, plus bad caparison using Ali alongside Moorer as Ali took the shots against Foreman a LITTLE better than Moorer did when he was knocked out by the fatter Foreman.
He was not white washing Ward but this jab was providing problems like it would against Moorer because of it`s length and power but Ward worked out how to avoid the jab and turned the fight around for the last 2 rounds and took him out more or less with tat powerful right to the jaw, maybe because he was tired the shot had more effect but Moorer would have trouble landing a shot like that because Kov would outjab him.
