Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

See, this is what I'm talking about. People are going to take credit away from Floyd. Floyd is a GREAT champion, but he unwittingly chose a fight with a guy that's 25 lbs heavier and turns out to be just as skilled as the top guys in the sport around that weight class.

Would Floyd fight Daniel Jacobs? No, of course not, and most logical people would assume Jacobs would win because of the match up. Floyd ****ed up with this fight, but it's not because Floyd is no good, it's just that McGregor is actually that good.

It's all in the footwork. You just don't see footwork like that anymore since the old days. I mean, look at the top guys in the sport today, Crawford, Ward, and Lomachenko. Why? Because of the way they move. Not just feet, but everything.

I will bet money on McGregor KO 1, 2, 3, and 4 depending on glove size.

Exactly. And McGregor isn't stupid. When reports ask him, he says he will beat Mayweather because of size. The thing is, McGregor KNOWS he is skilled. So it's not just size, it's a SKILLED guy with power and timing AND size that will beat Mayweather.

Mayweather just doesn't have the power and the chin and McGregor has 2 inches more reach, is younger than Floyd, and will outweigh him by 25 lbs on fight night.

People are going to be shocked, but they shouldn't be. All they need to do is watch McGregor train and realize that he actually has skill. It's not UFC vs boxing, it's McGregor who has the best hands in MMA vs Mayweather.

That's it. This time Mayweather made a bad decision and will get stopped, unfortunately. But that's the way it goes sometimes. Happened to Pacquaio and happened to Malinaggi in that sparring session.

 

Paulie is losing so much respect right now. Dude is such a hater and talked SO much about Pacquiao, that he just got his. That's just the way it is now. I don't really feel sorry for him as he brought this on himself. I figured he got destroyed. I knew that dude was full of **** from second session.

 

He got "destroyed" by that fraud because he was PAID to get "destroyed," precisely to create hype to get the unsophisticated to think McClown has more than a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

And from the looks of it, it's working. As P.T. Barnum is alleged to have said "there's a sucker born every minute."

Can't wait until McJoke gets starched. All of you UFC fanboys will have some bigtime egg on your faces.

 

I'm the farthest person from a UFC fan boy. I've had several user accounts banned because I talked so much **** about the UFC.

I respect UFC fighters now. Not because I got my ass whipped or anything, but because I got out of my own way. It only makes sense that if you want to be a complete fighter that you wouldn't limit yourself.

The thing is, there are certain things that you need to look for that are success factors in both the UFC and in boxing and in every "striking" sport that sets people apart.

The thing is, McGregor has that level of talent. He has that certain something. I saw it. I'm not blind to talent. You need to open your eyes too.

I also know about styles in boxing. And on paper, McGregor is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE for Floyd based on his physical assets, his power, his speed, his movement, and his timing.

I thought Mayweather would KO him in the first round when I first started looking into this fight. Now, I think McGregor will KO Mayweather within rounds 1-4. If Mayweather can miraculously survive, then he deserves a hell of a lot of credit. If he can beat McGregor than you HAVE to give Mayweather a hell of a lot of credit because look at what happens to lesser champions than Mayweather.

Look what happened to Malinaggi. We'll see if Floyd just has so much extraordinary talent that he can overcome a guy that will outweigh him by 25 lbs on fight night and has all the above mentioned assets.

I'm telling you, clear your mind, and think things through . Stop calling people fan boys. That's just stupid. Think logically.

You have this UFC vs boxing mindset, but in reality, just appreciate McGregor for being perhaps the best competitive fighter on the planet.

That's all there is to it. It's McGregor that's talented, not just anyone from the UFC. McGregor has the BEST hands in the UFC by a wide margin. McGregor is basically if you took the best boxers out of boxing and taught them kicking and grappling. They would be dominating the UFC.

McGregor just proves how lethal boxing is on its own as an individual martial art. But if you were to compete in MMA, obviously you need to learn more skills if you're at least reasonably intelligent.

 

dude, you got absolutely no proof of what youre saying, and if you were actually as smart as you think you are, you would be able to see the truth about your statements from paulies reactions alone, he isnt that great an actor. instead, youre pointing fingers at people and laughing over the exact thing that people smarter than you are seeing in you. buy yourself a clue, buddy.

 

Sorry for calling you a UFC fanboy. It seems you're a Mayweather fan who wants to big this guy up so Floyd gets more credit for annihilating McFraud after this farce is over.

Most of us just ain't buyin' it. This fight is a mismatch and the only way McJoke makes it to final bell is if Floyd lets him.

 

Like I said, there's a sucker born every minute. Keep buyin' the hype!! Plunk down that hundred bucks for this farce. A snowball has a better chance in hell than McFraud does of winning this fight.
