I haven't heard anything. They are probably both souped.

I really don't understand this kind of thinking. All this stuff about the superior sport etc, it's nonsense. I'm more of a boxing fan, but do watch some MMA also. They're both combat sports so I enjoy both. From the boxing side especially at the moment, there seems to be this superiority complex going on, as if MMA isn't **** and McGregor isn't even worthy to be in a boxing ring. Yes, Floyd is far more skilled as a boxer. However, the more skilled fighter does not always win a contest. Fitness, strenght, and the mental aspect especially are vitally important. If Conor can make it a scrappy fight, make Floyd uncomfortable, then it could be interesting for a while. Look, Conor will lose, and may be knocked out, but lets not completely trash him before the fight has even begun. MMA fighters deserve credit for the work they put in to learn the different codes needed to be successful in their sport. Conor's not a bum walking in off the street to fight Floyd. He's a live dog, with great understanding of movement, timing. He's young, powerful. This fight isn't the complete trash many boxing fans are naively writing it off as. If Floyd picks him apart and makes it look easy, so be it, it'll be no different to what he's done to many many 'elite' boxers.

Doesn't matter. Floyd gonna sauce it up regardless. But I'm also interested in it since nothing's been said on the subject from either party.

I guess anything goes in this matchup. The way the 2 of them have acted so far, it looks like a race to see who can get more juiced up before the fight.

How many times has Floyd failed a PED test? Yet he constantly accused of being on something. Those exact same people have excuses for Mann Pac being a steroid cheat though.

The fact that Conor is the most compelling, charismatic and intelligent athlete of recent times is worthy of accolades not degradation. The outright jealousy, hatred and ugliness towards anyone who dares to appreciate both sports is rooted in the primordial tendencies of the most primitive portion of the brain. I only wish there was a way to expand the capabilities of the most stunted people on this site.

Doing extremely well against a two-division champion in sparring for instance. There is no denying that he looks phenomenal and has incredible fluidity, reflexes and strength.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying I think Conor is going to win. He deserves credit though, not ridicule.

I agree. There's very few athletes out there with the balls to step in with the very best in a sport that's not their own. That alone deserves credit. As I said in a previous post, regardless of his skill level, he's a live dog, with a lot of physical and mental attributes. He threw over 3200 punches in his 12 round workout yesterday and was still looking fresh towards the end. Yes, it's just bag work, but it just shows physically he's more than ready for this. It could be interesting for a while. Floyd will win, but I just don't see how anyone can have a gripe with McGregor over this. Name another MMA fighter who could have pulled this off.

There isn't an athlete alive that wouldn't do thar for 100million. Going to need a better reason as to why he deserves credit.
