Lol wrong or he would of been suspended. I am not asking you if you think he was on something. I am asking how many times has he failed a PED test. The answer is never. But of course people like you who hate him will keep accusing him of being a cheat.

I on the other couldn't give a damn about Mayweather either. I think Maidana beat him and so did Castillo. I always thought he was overrated. I hope he knocks out McGregor and I was happy he beat Pac but besides those 2 times I always rooted for his opponents.

Somebody made a point that McGregor deserves credit for stepping in with Floyd. I made no other comment about anything other than that fact. My comment being that any athlete that can get paid 100m by stepping into a different sport is going to take that opportunity so why does McGregor deserve credit for it? He doesn't.

I don't see your point? I wasn't dissing Mcgregor. But he doesn't deserve credit because he took an easy 100m payday.

McGregor will fight dirty with rabbit punches etc and see if he can get away with it.

Mayweather may be a spry 40, but he's still 40 damn years old. Yeah he's never exactly been in a war or taken much punishment, but his reflexes cannot be what they were.

Yeah he juiced and beat a just-as-old, already-slept, and injured PAC. He beat Andre freaking Berto. Maidana isn't even that good and took it to him while he had the energy. Guerrero and Victor Ortiz? Lol. A 14-year-old Canelo. Shot Mosely. Shot ODLH. I guess Cotto was a decent win, but he was already severely broken but Tony and Manny. I guess his last truly impressive win was Hatton, nearly 10 years ago. So basically his entire 30's dominance was a mirage. He didn't fight for nearly 4 of those, and his best work definitely came in his 20's.

The guy he's fighting may be new to the sport, but nobody should doubt he can crack and is much more disciplined than he lets on. Don't get me wrong, CM will lose, but let's not ignore that "punchers chance" of a heavy-handed, prime FIGHTER who is very intelligent, very athletic, and very rangy against a 40-year-old, albeit a great forty.

He could be rusty with the longest layoff of his career. He could get old overnight. He could get caught if guys like Maidana and Cotto hurt him.

Yes, I'm trying to convince myself this could be worth watching, because I know I'm going to.

I remember Sugar Ray Leonard looking pretty good killing a bag training for Terry Norris. Then on fight night, he was really old. Not the same circumstances but it's hard to judge from training videos how much Floyd has.

Who is Floyd sparring with? If he is still holding his own and comfortably winning rounds then it is his fight.

As for CM's tactics, I think they will be:

    Switch stances regularly

    Give very akward movement

    Initiate a clinch whenever possible

    Pull Floyd's down

Hit behind the back of the head (watch Paulie video)

Maybe sneak a quick sucker punch in after that.

In other words really rough tactics.

I must be cracking up, the closer the fight gets the more I see visions of McGregor stopping Mayweather.

It's not what I think it's what I know. He had 3 positive A samples. He was never suspended because he was give inadvertent use exemptions for all 3 so no B samples were ever taken. He paid USADA off just like he paid them to grant him a therapeutic use exemption for the illegal 750 ml of iv in the MP fight. He applied for it 5 days after the fight and was granted it 19 days later.
I don't hate him. I used to really like him. I wanted him to beat DLH but I started going off him around that time when his cherry picking became more apparent. He stayed retired for more than a year to avoid the rematch with DLH then picked on poor little Marquez for his comeback. I actually couldn't care less about his ped taking until he caused the 5 year delay to fight MP by accusing him of ped taking when he was already souped to the gills. That is the main gripe I have against him. I thought Castillo beat him but not Maidana in either fight. One of my atg fighters is RRJ and we know he got done for peds around the time he fought at hw but I don't have a problem with him because he was never hypocritical enough to accuse others of what he was already doing.

If Mayweather doesn't KO McGregory it's proof he never was all that.

Nah, no need for that, McGregor is a great guy, me personally I am a fan of them both. However, Mayweather will make it look quite easy come fight night, just cos this will be Conor's first boxing match and he doesn't have the experience on this level. Mayweather by UD or late stoppage

Floyd will clown and embarrass him. This will be a light sparring session against a C level, neophyte fighter for Floyd.
