Have there been any reports out of Mayweather's camp? It's so tough to judge how he looks from YouTube clips. I'd be curious how his reflexes are.

As an aside, I never remember seeing Tyson or anybody years ago train with so many people on top of them. Maybe that's just a media day but is that common? Hard to take that seriously when I see those videos. Reminds me of Rocky III lol

According to Paulie, that was 11 or 12 yes. He did look very fresh, but maybe it's not that surprising considering he's a pressure fighter in MMA and also used to grappling for 5 rounds. I watched some of his media day work out the other day where he did 12 full rounds on the bag and he was very fresh and throwing with speed in the 11th, and I know yes, it's just the bags, but he threw 3200+ punches in those 12 rounds. Clearly he's in peak shape. Guys expecting him to gas in this fight are way off.

most difficult? LUL. The only unknown factor here is Floyd is close to 41 and well beyond his prime. The reflexes, etc won't be the same. But, to imply this is his most difficult opponent is just BS. McGregor couldn't outbox Nate Diaz!

yeah he's a 0-0 boxer but they could have easily built him up to 20 - 0 fighting cans in the south and midwest. He's not a guy off the street, he started boxing at like 12 and has amateur experience. Cage fighting is not boxing but you still have to make weight, show up, and fight in front of a large crowd of people.

He did outbox Nate Diaz, quite handily for the most part. Only problem was he couldn't stop him and got dragged into a war. And virgil hunter rates Nate quite highly, he's sparred Andre 12 times. A guy at Wards level doesn't spar a guy 12 times unless he's getting good work.

    Oh boy, oh boy!!

Can Mayweather beat a 0-0-0 boxer that sucks?

    What an intriguing matchup! :copas:

nate diaz is 6'0 190lbs+ on fight night, conor fought at 145lbs in MMA he moved all the way up to 170. That would be like GGG fighting USYK at 200lbs

McGregor was bigger than Nate Diaz fight night. It's McGregor who loses insane amounts of weight to fight little guys. Conor used to fight at lightweight. Nate Diaz usually fights at lightweight. He had no training camp in their first fight literally fighting a week or so after partying in Cabo.

Stop this "Nate is a monster" narrative. I can't believe people buy into this ****. Nate was too small for 170. He looked his best at 155. There is zero debate about this. Diaz/McGregor fought at 170 because Nate was called in on 2 weeks notice while he was partying on a houseboat.

McGregor looked like death weighing in at 145. These are both lightweight fighters.

The "Nate is a Monster" narrative was put out there by McGregors pimp, Dana White. Continually repeated my no nothing mainstream knobs.

True talk. McGregor will lose. But will he survive?

It all depends on how it plays out.

If McGregor survives no matter even if Floyd wins all 12 rounds McGregor still gets the win. Right out of Floyd's mouth.

Thats what makes this very interesting. People are underestimating McGregor because of Floyd's greatness. McGregor is younger bigger and stronger. He just may survive. Should be interesting.

I hate it when Conor refers to MMA as a 'real fight'. It's not ! it's a different combat sport with different rules, but there are still rules ! even in UFC 1 there were rules.

Trust me, i train in reality based combat and eye gouges, strikes to the throat, groin strikes, kicking a downed opponent, stomping, strikes to the back of the head , small joint manipulation, even hair pulling etc make a fight a whole different ball game. That's not even including weapons and mates jumping in

You see what happens in an MMA fight with an accidental eye gouge or groin strike. The fighters act like babies and are basically sitting ducks . And that's a slight poke in the eye, trust me if someone is trying to guage your eye out, it's 50 times worse !

Conor destroyed Paulie so maybe hes been underestimated? Paulie is about Broner level so Conor is smashing pro boxers of a high level.

    Lets see what happens.

    Keeping hyping away. Nobody's buying.

McNovice is going to be destroyed, completely outboxed and then knocked out anytime Mayweather wants.
