1. Size
During the Mayweather vs. McGregor World Tour, the Irishman repeatedly took swipes at his opponent’s smaller stature, alleging the boxer attempted to downplay that by wearing “high heel” shoes. While Mayweather isn’t that much smaller than McGregor by normal standards, when they’re stripped down to shorts, boots, and gloves, the size difference will be profound... MORE

You can try to dress this joke fight up as much as you like, but the reality it that McFraud is a novice boxer who is going to get badly exposed and then knocked out by this aging Mayweather. No matter how much you hypemeisters try to justify it, those of us who know boxing know that it's a mismatch, and McJoke is going to be annihilated.

Floyd has exposed himself. He is taking part in the racial divide agenda happening right now. Both fighters know this. It's all WWE.

True talk. Media is mostly at fault for Charlottsville, Ferguson and many many more. Being a middle man for the biggest book in NE for 27 years (quit 10 years ago) I have seen a few things.

What will happen is Floyd will be given a disputed TKO over McGregor probably in the 5th round (where McGregor could have gone on but the fight is stopped) or if it goes the distance McGregor will be given a disputed decision. Either way the energy for the race war agenda is turned up.

Do you think they give 100's of millions of dollars to any average joe walking the street?
Floyd and Conner are in the organization. I could prove it easily but me telling you what will happen is enough.

Love is the answer

malignaggi is only 36 years old not in his 40's. That's a 2 weight world champion destroyed by conor, you guys said an amateur would out box him now you're making excuses. If it was almost any other MMA guy I would give him zero chance, but this guy is special. There is something freaky athletic about him.

This thread is great because it allows me to easily put everyone that DKSAB on ignore when they reveal their stupidity to the world here.

Have to laugh at people getting protective of Boxing in the form of Floyd Mayweather. Floyd is the main reason boxing in the states is on its hands and knees. His rivalry with Pacquaio was the chance to bring boxing back to the pinnacle of sport, cementing its popularity for years to come. But instead of fighting Pacman prime for prime on a blockbuster card, he fought his shadow five years later in a hugely underwhelming PPV that cost the public $100 with not so much as a decent fight on the undercard. It was a horror show that's virtually killed boxing in the states.

The irony of people bashing McGregor is also funny. He's the reason the spotlight is back on boxing, nobody is tuning in to see Floyd. Thankfully Floyd has sanctioned a decent undercard to save face in the likely scenario of another poor main event. But if by some miracle McGregor pulls off the win, the biggest stars in boxing will que up to fight Conor and the viewing figures will go through the roof. Conor would save boxing in the states like he saved MMA.

But what will happen is Floyd will box conservatively once again, boring fans in an easy 12 round decision win to put the final nail in the US boxing coffin.

You don't have to like McGregor, but painting Floyd as the boxing flagbearer is ridiculous. Floyd has destroyed the image of boxing. The best thing that can happen for boxing is a McGregor win. He'll bring a huge fanbase to the sport, not to mention much needed excitement. And when Conor inevitably gets KO'd by a more offensive fighter than Floyd, some of them fans may hang around.

I'm trying to tell you, that I understand Conner's strategy.

Ultimately, if you have absolutely no punch in boxing, it is very difficult to get to the higher echelons of the sport because most great fighters have a good enough punch to keep people from trying to knock them out. Bernard Hopkins is a good example of this.

Mayweather too has enough to keep people off him, but in this case, McGregor has a longer reach and has shown to often optimize his reach in MMA to set up his strikes, but to ultimately set up his punches, and in particular that left hand.

Conner is going to use footwork and a high work rate, in combination with his reach to keep Mayweather non-stop on the defensive, and then occasionally slip a hard shot through which, if it lands and McGregor is as reputable of a puncher as he makes himself out to be, then he very well could hurt Mayweather.

This is the same style that Calzaghe used against Hopkins, but I think McGregor has better footwork than Calzaghe, but I also think Mayweather is better than Hopkins. Mayweather will land that right hand, but will it have the effect that he wants it to have or will there be such high work rate, that it will become too dangerous to let it fly with any serious intent?

That's what it's going to come down to because McGregor is going to look to counter Mayweather's counter. The thing is, Mayweather is going to be outweighed by 25 lbs on top of McGregor's punching power and precision.

Look, I might be totally wrong in my analysis, but the thing I saw during McGregor's training session were quite obviously much different than what other people saw, but don't worry, Floyd saw the same thing I did and he knows he is going to have to be prepared from more angles during this fight than perhaps any other of his previous fights.

I really hope Floyd has the ability to pull of a masterclass, but don't get it twisted, if he does, it will be against perhaps his most formidable opponent. I don't know if Floyd realized this before actually watching McGregor like I did or perhaps only recently discovered this about him, but we'll just see what happens.

Of course, I could be completely wrong, but let's keep it real and admit that it's more than likely that McGregor handled Malinaggi. This guy is a master of timing. I don't think people are understanding this. Floyd is also a master of timing. You teach Floyd how to kick, Floyd will time kicks as well as he does punches. That is who Floyd is going up against, a master of timing.

Just keep that in mind before you dismiss this fight. This is a serious fight.

No, it's a JOKE, and no amount of inane "analysis" trying to big up McFraud is going to change that.

I can't wait to get on here and laugh my ass off after he gets embarrassed and then destroyed by Mayweather.

This fight is one of the biggest mismatches in boxing history, and boxing fans know this.

I hope that your right. I don't know, maybe you are trying to make some money off the odds.

I gotta tell you though, I think this kid can fight. When I first heard about it, I thought, Mayweather kills him. But look, there are certain things that just aren't taught. Like, timing, movement, it's really hard to understand even when to time your movements, but I seen McGregor do this.

I didn't see Maidana do that. Berto is not known to move that much. You see, what does an older guy not want to face? You don't want to face movement because you want to have an easy target available to you. McGregor is going to come forward, but at multiple angles. He won't present a stagnant target, but he's not going to throw every shot hard, so he can preserve energy.

If Mayweather can him him hard and destroy his body, he will win. If not, it could get very interesting. Like I said, let's just hope that they are both kept safe.

Does anyone even know about the undercards? Will they be boxing, MMA or a mix of both?
