Given Wildmills has called everyone out (who have other commitments) and has been giving teases of "big announcements" coming soon it would only make sense that he has another tune up fight before getting his mandatory out of the way..

In typical Wildmills fashion a new #15 WBC man is found...

Seems a bit unlikely as Lucas hits way too hard for Wildmills to risk...

I don't understand how these organization rankings work. For example, why is Povetkin not listed?

Well officially you have to win one of their lower titles to get ranked. In the case of Wilder he picks a bum and the WBC put him into the #15 position for Wilder to feast on..

In reality a bit of cash changes hand to get a good rating so you have a combination of winning some lesser title i.e. WBC Asia, silver etc and Don King throwing a bit of cash at the organisation (for Stiverne)..

I suspect Povetkin hasn't done either with the WBC.

 

Povetkin is still banned by the WBC for testing positive last year before his proposed fight against Stiverne. They won't consider ranking him until March 2018.

 

So will they also not rank anyone who has one of the 3 other major belts, such as Parker and Joshua?

 

Hmmm looks like Charles Martin will be getting another crack at a world title.

 

Stiverne is saying his fight should be all sorted with Wilder before the weekend...

But YES, there is a strong chance of a 3 week notice new #15 VBC Euro fighter as his next voluntary.

Notice Kownacki is JUST outside the top 15... Can't have a risky fight like that for Wilder available, even after he just knocked out your best title defense.

 

WBC has made Stiverne Wilder's mandatory to protect him. Pretty soon the WBC will make Sconiers mandatory, Sconiers will have a box-off against Christy Martin, the winner will fight Wilder.................

Povetkin was cleared by VADA, the WBC will not allow Povetkin to fight Wilder because they want to protect him.......................after Povetkin is 50 years old perhaps the WBC will allow Povetkin to fight Wilder if he drinks several bottles of wine and lives in an alley.........................this crap is absurd! WBC crooked as hell. Wilder, five voluntary title defenses in a row! He will never fight anyone.

 

Eventually, they will find a way to get Dimitrenko in the top 15....
