I never said that Galento didn't make it clear the he believed that he beat tall fighters or found them easier to beat. What I said was that he might have been beating them not because they were tall but because they lacked the skills of a Lennox Lewis.

Of course not. Galento described things as he perceived them just as all of us honestly do. Whether his perception is 100% accurate or not is the real question. It might have been or it might not.

What's wrong with calling him a liar? No one here knows him or what's he's like. It's not as if no boxer has ever lied or 'exaggerated' before about beating this boxer and that boxer.

He looks like a shifty underhanded guy anyway.Probably have to check your ring still on your finger and your watch on your wrist afterwards if you shake hands with him.

I'm assuming that you would roll your dice with LL instead of Galento

So to be clear you are not picking Galento to win?

As shady a character as Galento is, I would enjoy a beer and debate with him far more than Lewis who often talked like someone who was far too much up his own ass but yes in a boxing match, Lewis would butcher him.

Did you know that baby elephants are born weighing 200-250 pounds? Of course grizzly bears have been known to be 700-900 pounds

Well it would not be a long bout, Galento exiting in double quick time with a ko loss on his record.

Just to add comedic value to the fight though Galento could wear that wig he has in the video, see how far it goes out into the audience when Lennox lets his punches go.

Lennox Lewis never seemed arrogant to me. Maybe it was the british accent that made him sound pompous.

He was born in England from parents who were Jamaican. Grew up there until age twelve before his parents moved to Canada.

So that would account for the British accent. He never came across as being arrogant to me either.

Lennox is my man, but at point in his life did he have anything approaching a British accent.
