Lots of talk that ticket sales are not going well either...

Strange decision not to be working with Boxnation and BT and letting it drag on this long with limited promotion and no TV deal...

Especially, since they had the head to head in the ring on the BT show, Has there been some sort of fall out...?

There is such a huge cloud over the whole Fury situation, the whole team don't help them selves.

Being the unloved, under dogs that they like to play is one thing but its like they go out of there way to f**k themselves over!

Very surprised it's not on Boxnation. Can see this being a channel 5 fight now. But I'm also beginning to be dubious this fight will happen with some ultra lame excuses used to call it off.

i'd be suprised if they sell over a thousand tickets, like you said there is no broadcaster, mick hennesy etc have a **** following on social media, the casuals don't know parker or fury, its only a month away, this 'event' just sums up mick hennesy and it highlights why matchroom are the best.

Agreed, Very frustrating... Its not being an Eddie Hearn fan boy but there is no denying he is doing if much better than anyone else at the moment.

So many boxers in British boxing having half the career they should have because of the promoter they have behind them.

    It won't get called off.

If they're not big talkers then there's nothing really to build plus the terrestrial channels don't really build these things up until a week before i.e. Eubank vs Abraham, Taylor vs Davies etc

This fight is huge because of the knockon effect from it rather than the fight itself. Both fighters parties will take the hit financially because the rewards will be PPV against the likes of Joshua/Haye/Bellew depending on the winner.

you just have to watch the press conference for the fight on IFL TV, Mick Hennesy can't raise a smile and has the most boring voice ever, he had the charisma of a plant pot in the presser even though his fighter is fighting for the world heavyweight title in his city, at least try and get people interested, at the AJ wlad presser, eddie coudln't contain himself giving a long speech about the journey they have been on etc, hearn has more charisma at a small hall press conference than mick had for a heavyweight title fight.

    Probably Channel 5.
That's okay. It will get exposure to a large-ish audience.

Yes, Hennessey is the worst promoter ever. The Furys have sabotaged themselves in many ways perhaps, but staying with Hennessey is maybe the biggest error.

I think i have said the same on here before its night and day.

Mick Hennessy is couldnt convince me to drink water if i was thirsty.

Same with FW and there image just look at the IFL interviews... it speaks volumes that EH is always in a bright sun lit room, he energetic and engaging... FW opposite in every way. Broom cupboard blinds closed looks like he would rather be anywhere else.

Assuming these rumours are true I believe that is the reason Bellew didn't fight Ward, Bellew will step in for Fury.

Hearn sounded sure recently that Bellew would be in a PPV fight this year. Bellew is not a PPV fighter on his own merits, so Parker might just make sense. Parker should be an easy sell over here for a competent promoter.

Yeah, Hearn has been pretty vocal that he doesnt see the Fury fight happening.

I think he is counting on either it not happening or parker winning and going straigh into a ppv fight with bellew.

Because lets be honest... bellew doesnt have alot of options really if Haye really isnt going to happen.
