 Not a chance that I am supporting this farce. :nonono

I'll catch the highlights package sometime - if I could be bothered - which will probably be the entire fight since the whole thing will be over halfway through the 1st round :risas3:

Lets get one thing straight : McGregor is a force to be reckoned with in boxing. A lot of people are insinuating that Floyd took an easy fight by fighting Conor rather than a top level boxer. Conor could well be a tougher opponent than most boxers Floyd could fight. The guy has explosive punching power. He has many attributes that make him a very tough opponent for anyone in boxing.

McGregor is not your typical well rounded MMA fighter, he's primarily a puncher, so it makes his transition to boxing an easy one. This is a hard fight for Floyd, for any boxer. Again, due to Conor's explosiveness, due to his reach advantage, due to his quick hands, due to his awkward movement. Just because he's never had a boxing match doesn't mean he can't succeed in boxing. A lot of boxing fans have so much boxing pride that they really are underrating Conor as a boxer and the problems he could give boxers in the sport of boxing. There is another side of it where he's not seasoned as a boxer so he may be adjusting on the fly to the pace of a boxing match, specifically one vs Floyd Mayweather that is a high level opponent. But if he can get Floyd to respect his power, he could just overwhelm Floyd with his athleticisim and explosiveness. I know this isn't a popular view of Conor amongst most boxing fans due to the boxing pride on display in underrating Conor, but Conor is a special athlete and possibly the best candidate for an MMA fighter to make a translation to boxing. Conor has proven explosive punching power, has fast hands and good elusiveness, has a long reach, and has a personality that is good at trash talking, you have all the ingredients to be a boxing star and are worthy of being in a fight of this magnitude.

I'm just speaking real. If Floyd wins, that will solidify him as one of the greatest in history. He's never fought a guy with the dimensions of McGregor.

This is his most dangerous fight. Do you honestly think McGregor won't land one single shot on Floyd?

Man, I watch MMA, and it's great.

This fight, however, is not great.

It's a clown show and a money grab by two greedy men taking advantage of all the noobs that actually think a 0-0-0 fighter can show up and beat a boxing ATG.

If Floyd somehow loses this cakewalk he's gonna need a paper bag with holes in it to hide his head for the rest of his life.

No, fighting is not fighting. Premier boxers train for YEARS to attain the level of skill necessary to compete at the world class level. Even most amateur boxers need a significant period of development in the pro ranks to be competitive at the world class level.

Assuming Mayweather doesn't intentionally make this look more competitive than it is, this fight will be as one-sided as it gets.

Yes, he will not land anything on Floyd that Floyd doesn't let him. This fight is going to be a WIPE OUT. It is a FRAUD, a complete mismatch.

I know from personal experience that what you're saying is not true. For example, look at punchers. I don't care how long you train, how many weights you lift, etc, either you're a puncher or you're not.

You either have rhythm or you don't. Some people have this, some people don't. You're wrong. You'll figure it out on the 26th. I just can't help you.

I'm starting to think that you're betting heavy on McGregor, but you want the odds to be WAY in favor of Mayweather. That's a good plan. Keep up the good work because I might make a bet of my own.

It doesn't matter if he lands. Pacquiao landed, mosley landed, Maidana landed.

If the hope is McGregor lands one shot then well give up now as every fighter Floyd faced has a hope that 1 'shot lands. Takes more than that!!!

Absolute farce of a fight. I agree 100%. Taking advantage of all these clowns. I'm not watching this bs. I'm waiting on Canelo/GGG. Connor has NO CHANCE. He's gonna get killed

Absolutely. I'm a Golovkin fan and think he will win, but Canelo is of high enough a calibre that I can concede that he has a real shot in their fight. That if GGG isn't 100% he could lose. And I also know that win or lose, Canelo / GGG is going to be a great match, a real treat for the boxing fans.

Conor / PBF is essentially about "can a noob that hits hard spaz away and land a money punch on an ATG defensive boxer?" Yeah ... no thanks.

I used to watch that fight all the time at school. For free.
