Unfortunately true. I love JMM and he's the reason I got into boxing but Pacs resume is something else.

    Easily Pacquiao.

But Marquez will be known as the guy who won the rivalry between the two. By most I suspect, anyway.

Easily Pac. Whoever voted for JMM needs to question whether they even know boxing.

JMM will be known as the guy who KOed Pac in their fourth fight but used PEDs under Memo Heredia to get the KO. Extremely tainted legacy.

Ali or Norton? Some say Norton won all three fights.

The answer is Pacquiao. Marquez is a warrior, a great fighter, but his resume is not too great.

    It's not too shabby, either.

It's definitely a great resume. Just not as great as Pac's. No shame in that.

Marquez is the better fighter. But Pac had the greater career.

Bump. With JMM retiring and Pac still fighting there's a possibility that Pac might end up having the same longevity that JMM had. We'll see how much longer Pac will last in the ring. If Pac really does continue fighting in his 40s at a high level then there's no denying his achievements. Highly unlikely but in boxing a lot is possible, especially with Pac.

Pacquiao already has more longevity. He's had more fights, more title defenses, more titles won, and won his first world title in 1998. That's right in 1998.

Pac will be remembered as the greater of the two but Marquez will be remembered as Pac's pappy.

Ali beat Frazier twice and was the greater fighter. I don't get your point.

Most objective people regard Marquez as Pac's pappy based on the whuppings he gave him. I have never heard Frazier being referred to as being Ali's pappy.
