I always considered it legit. The ending is hilarious.

Speaking of works. The Big Show vs Floyd Mayweather match was not a bad spectacle. I expected worse at the time. Ended up being decent.

 

Enjoy the fight buddy. I actually don't mind a friend gathering for this. Not the type of fight you get intense with but just good ole fun and laugh.

 

The sumo guy looked to have carried Big show then just endedit when he felt like it. Perhaps not the textbook definition of a work.

 

Speaking of "legitimate" wrestling matches. Do you remember in the late 90s when they had that REAL toughman tournament involving a bunch of wrestlers? JBL, Bart Gunn, The Godfather, Steve Blackman. Gunn ended up winning it only to get KTFO by Butterbean at Mania.

 

It is a slippery slope to mediocre.

 

Can't believe anyone who knows anything about boxing would buy this.

Granted, 99% of those who say they won't buy it are lying to appear more hardcore. Sadly, most boxing fans seem to love drama more than the fights...deep down. I can see a lot of them using the Badou Jack/Cleverly fight as their excuse for buying it.

 

Everyone is going to be surprised. Mayweather is going to get knocked out in this fight. The problem with boxing is that there is no organizational structure. Boxing is too decentralized, which is why you rarely see people meeting their full potential.

I guess my point is that the Mayweather team just didn't see this coming. Nobody did. Who knew that McGregor was 10X more dangerous than Margarito.

Do you think Floyd would have taken a fight with this guy if he knew that? He was thinking he was going against some kind of oaf. Now he's going to be knocked out.

It's a terrible thing, but you still never know.

My god are some people gullible. Mayweather will win easily.

 

No, he won't. He's going to get knocked out. I have no idea why he picked McGregor out of all the possible opponents.

He could have had a rematch with Pacquaio and made plenty of money.

He could have had a rematch with Canelo.

Instead, he fights a guy that is going to knock him out. This is the worst mistake of his career.

You guys have got to get it out of your head that you need 15 years of boxing or whatever to be amazing. No, you don't. You either have it or you don't. McGregor has TIMING experience. Timing is perhaps the most important aspect of boxing.

McGregor has FAR better footwork than plodders like Maidana and Canelo. He also hits harder than both of them and he's rangier than Floyd.

This is a BAD fight for Floyd. I guess you guys are going to be in shock.

It took me a while to realize it too. I can't buy into the hype unless there is something that solidifies my opinion. When I saw McGregor's open workout, I realized that this kid has extra ordinary talent.

Watch how many times Maidana landed behind Floyd's head. One shot from McGregor, even if it's controversial, could put Floyd down.

How does nobody see this?

Floyd does not have a great chin. I don't know what to tell people. McGregor is going to use a Calazghe like style and run Floyd down.

It's crazy how biased people can be. They are so blind to this. People have so much hatred and anger in their hearts and minds, that they can't see anything with clarity.

Doesn't the Malinaggi beat down legitimize this? Have you seen anyone else manhandle Malinaggi like that?

This is a real fight. Not sure if people hate Mayweather or what, but this is serious. Not sure why people are disregarding this. People can be so naive. This is how group think leads to murder.
