He's a true warrior and has every reason to be bitter as his own team took him out a tad bit early. He'll get his rematch..... Can't count him out completely, but unfortunately for him I feel this will mirror the Corrales/Uchiyama fights even further and he'll lose a competitive and possibly controversial decision the 2nd time around.

That always happens when Ring puts you on the p4p list for a long series of consecutive title defenses. You're on for about a month and then your string is up when the old lion falls victim to the young lions.

He's Afro-Mexican, the Spanish had black slaves there too, although not in as great a number as they had in Cuba and Puerto Rico, there's pockets of them throughout Mexico, mainly in Veracruz, Oaxaca, Guerrero and Mexico City, but there's about 30,000 in Baja California where Nery is from.

congrats to neri, i thought he would get ko'ed as soon as he stepped up to top level comp due to his porous defense when attacking, he proved me wrong.

WTF are you on about? Very has kinky hair, but if you remove the beard, he looks(is) like the stereo typical Mexican.

He's got a little black in him, a little indigenous and probably predominantly Hispanic, so yeah that means he's Latin American, you do realize that Latin Americans can be Black, Indigenous or White and in some cases a mix of all three right?

True Latins are of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French origin and are white, some South American countries are predominantly white like Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, the brownish skin comes from mixing with indigenous Native American tribes, which descended from the Asians that came across the land bridge from Siberia 10's of thousands of years ago, also in certain Latin American countries had large slave population which mixed in as well, there's no set standard for what a Latin American is supposed to look like it varies from country to country. Also Latin and Hispanic refers to a share language, not their race or ethnicity.

Also Nery is of Spanish and Portuguese origin variant of Neri, like the actress Rosalba Neri or her daughter Francesca,:deal:
