Spinks was lucky. Tangstad had gone off the rails by the time they fought. Tangstad's whole life was in tailspin. He wasn't training. Drink, drugs, women. He spent the night before the fight with a dozen Las Vegas hookers. It was sad to see such a great young fighter squander his talent. Boxing insiders knew what was happening. Prime Tangstad KO Spinks and Tyson in the same night. That's a FACT. Buster Douglas was the only guy who could live with him*, and only for 8 rounds. 12 round fight, Tangstad gets to Douglas late. * The Eklund fight was a fix. Scandanavian mafia won a lot of money on that, Tangstad got his cut.
Kevin Rooney could KO the version of Tyson that fought Douglas LOL. i`ve never heard of Tangstad, I lay odds that he`s some big puncher they always get overrated by people!
Douglas had loads of crap fights the only times he showed any interest was when he fought Tyson and Tucker and even in the Tucker fight he just gave up like in the Holyfield fight, bored with the whole thing! Buster even lost to Mike the giant white or someone who got beat by every Brits favourite fraud Frank Bruno! Douglas could have had a much better career and at some stage may even have bumped into the wonderful Bruno and exposed him as a plodder.
