There's a sucker born every minute and you my friend - lest ye be trolling and in that case sort your life out - have been taken in hook line and sinker by the promotional behemoth pushing boxing's farce of the century.

Wow, so I guess after all these years, Floyd makes the mistake of coming out of retirement to get knocked out.

What was his team thinking? This is the same guy that is so calculated in his approach with his opponents and now this?

This is shocking to me. I could be totally and completely wrong, but I saw McGregor work out. He is serious. His footwork is no point.

I guess everyone that ever wanted to see Floyd get knocked out will be pleased. At the age of 40, I just hope he's alright. I hope both guys are safe.

Ah, so you're a Mayweather hater, rooting against all logic and common sense against the representative of your own sport, boxing.

No matter, as much as you dislike Floyd, he will represent and demonstrate the superiority of the Sweet Science over this mindless violence and, frankly boring garbage, called UFC/MMA, and utterly embarrass and destroy McFraud

Did you not see McGregor's footwork?

I was able to deduce his strategy based on his training session and the way he manhandled Malinaggi.

Also, with the things that he said about making Floyd reactive.

I'm telling you, Floyd is getting knocked out. I can't believe Floyd let him take this fight.

McGregor is going to come at Floyd like Calzaghe fights. He's going to throw tons and tons of punches, most of which have nothing on them, but enough to keep Floyd defensive, and then occasionally he's going to let something hard go when he sees an opening.

He'll be looking for that uppercut shot everyone on instagram was making fun of, and if he lands it, it will land as a counter to Floyd's right hand counter and it will drop Floyd if it lands.

That will be a big part of McGregor's strategy is looking to counter Floyd's counter with his own much harder counter, and given that he has great timing, fast feet, and 2 inches of reach to spare, he will land some of these shots, especially straight left hands.

He will also dominate Floyd in the clinch, mainly due to sheer size of 25 lbs advantage, plus his extensive grappling experience, including knowledge of Greco-Roman wrestling techniques.

If you don't open your eyes, you are going to be blindsided.

I can't believe that Floyd is going to be knocked out.

    Tune in, August 26th.

Why can't McGregor be a boxer? If he knocks out Mayweather, won't he prove his worth? Wouldn't you like to see him in against the winner of Canelo vs GGG?

Stop being so ignorant. McGregor said himself that he doesn't see it as UFC vs boxing because he doesn't believe there is anyone in the UFC that can do what he can do, and frankly, there isn't.

It's one great athlete vs another great athlete. Leave it at that.

    Tune in, 26th August.

Forlorn halfwits with major insecurity issues don't have the ability to appreciate MMA because they view it as a threat to their masculinity. How do they feel about kickboxing, karate, jujitsu and wrestling as individual sports??? I wonder????

No buddy. I hate it because it's BORING, and its fans are all a bunch of trailer park dwelling ignoramuses. That this garbage is given any legitimacy and treated as equivilant to boxing is profoundly OFFENSIVE!

It takes someone with sophistication to appreciate a real sport like boxing, and the testosterone infested former WWE fans that form the base of UFCs demographic have all the gray matter and intellectual refinement of a rock.

These fools are as delusional as some of these Mayweather haters and fanboys who don't see what a total mismatch this is. Can't wait until these Neanderthals see their glass jawed hero quivering out cold on the canvas!

I hope Floyd can punch hard enough to prove me wrong. I just don't know. If he can punch hard enough, he wins.

If not...it's going to be ugly in there for Floyd.

You proved my point by stating your simple, deluded beliefs. You predictably ignored a very important question in my last post lol :lily:

Rooting against logic and common sense? Logic and common sense point towards a boring Mayweather landslide win and the fans feeling ripped off again, having to pay 100 dollars to see a mismatch. Then Mayweather will retire for good, leaving boxing to pick up the pieces like he did after the Pacquaio farce.

Logic and common sense say that if McGregor somehow lands a blow and finishes the fight, he'll come back for more boxing matches, bringing huge support to the sport of boxing. Not to mention excitement.

I respect Mayweathers ability. He's undoubtedly the best of his generation and probably one of the best of all time. But the man is a greedy parasite who has ripped off the fans. The same fans who pay him his precious money. He's a con artist, he represents everything that is wrong in boxing.

Why do you feel the need to put down MMA at every opportunity? You sound very insecure. I don't watch much MMA but I respect their athletes as skilled, tough men. I also don't see the sport as a threat to boxing. When promoted properly, boxing kicks MMA's ass everyday of the week. Problem is we've guys like Mayweather ripping the fans off whill UFC do the best for their fans.

LMAO ok... First of all he did not humiliate Malignagi for ****... He has shown what he wants to show in those clips.. I bet my a$$ he wont post the full video... And he looked reckless as fook in those small clips.. Anyhow.. he aint fighting Malignaggi that night... Hes fighting the best fighter of this era.. good luck to him.. Only chance he has is power if hes able to land something since May's legs arent the same anymore obviously.. Unless this farce is fixed...
