What's with all the make-believe Wilder match ups lately? Can I make one?

Wilder vs. Any top five HW. Who wins?

FWIW Wilder knocks Ruiz out. Despite being one of Wilder's biggest critics here I have to say that Ruiz was one of the worst HW champions in history and lost to a blown up MW.

Wilder wins by KO. It would be similar to the Washington fight in a sense, I think Wilder would look bad until he landed that big right hand.

I want to prove a point that Wilder is one of the worst HW champions ever by making these comparisons and also prove that he loses to even contenders (let alone champions) from the early 2000s and 90s.

Earlier I put up a poll of Wilder vs Tua, Haye, Rahman, Byrd, Bruno, Ibeabuchi, Morrison and he lost the polls to all those guys.
I even had a poll for Wilder vs Shannon Briggs and most people voted for Briggs which goes to show how much of a fraud that Wilder is and it further proves my point that Wilder doesn't have the talent to beat any decent heavyweight.

Wilder too rangy and big for Ruiz. If Wilder was Ruiz size it be anyone's fight.

Ruiz wins a possibly controversial decision with his usual ugly tactics.

very much a "who cares ? " for me. Both very poor chumpions. Ruiz was quite durable and might wear down Wilder eventually. But really don't care.

This is winnable for Wilder. Ruiz didn't have a big punch and was slow as molasses. The real question is whether Huggy Bear tires Wilder out and stinks out the joint for a points win or whether Wilder lands a bomb and ends it all.

    I'd say 60-40 in Wilder's favour.

60-40 in a fair scenario? Yeah I'd be inclined to agree. But in early 2000s you'd have to favor Ruiz by at least that margin with the ref, judges and King by his side.

    Ref: :copas:
    Judges: :cool1::cool1::cool1:
    Don King: :trolldeltesoro:

That combination could make for a Ruiz win!

Ruiz would be a career best win for Wilder. He has all the physical advantages but Ruiz is tougher.

Wow. Quite the write up. Good read if I'm honest. I mainly mentioned the RJJ fight to highlight Ruiz's plodding slowness, something Wilder would be able to take advantage of. Perhaps I should have been clearer on that point. Perhaps I'm also putting too much weight in that fight when it comes to my overall opinion on Ruiz.

And what is my non boxing agenda that you speak of? Please, pray tell. Because it simply strikes me as a word people use on this forum to discredit another's opinion with little to no effort or evidence, which is a shame really given the first 3/4 of your argument was quite informative.

LOL, you make a pretty good argument, in all seriousness.

Fact is though, nobody really thinks Ruiz was a great champion and I thought he was as boring as watching paint dry. He was effective enough in his way, but I for one am glad he's not around anymore.

    1) I personally found Ruiz boring. The fact that others do too is irrelevant
    2) Jack Johnson was pretty boring too
    3) Wlad could be a snorefest - eg - against Povetkin.
    4) What non-boxing agenda do you imagine is being pushed here?

That's a fallacy and you know it. Wlad had a higher KO % and was seen as boring (as you've already pointed out).
