As soon as Conor gets touched to the body, he will realise he's no boxer.

McGregor has a great chance. I see either McGregor by KO or Mayweather by decision.

I think McGregor can survive if he gases and Mayweather can't afford to get too aggressive because McGregor fights best when his opponent comes towards him, and his quick feet, power, timing, and 2 inches of reach advantage are going to make it very difficult for Floyd to cover ground.

This is Floyd's most difficult fight. If Floyd was younger, he could probably be more aggressive, even though it would still be dangerous.

On paper, physically, McGregor is all wrong for Floyd. It's the worst possible stylistic match up, but we'll see if McGregor is capable of optimizing this style in the boxing ring. That's what's so interesting.

    Tune in, August 26th.

You're clearly the idiot, because you can't even read. I've said numerous times Floyd will win this fight. It's a complete mismatch. And that's exactly why I want McGregor to win, because Floyd is robbing the fans once again.

Have you the intelligence to separate wanting a fighter to win, from expecting a fighter to win? Such a pity your emotional insecurities about boxing arw clouding your ability to read.

I love boxing as much as anyone, and that's exactly why I want Floyd 'The Robber' Mayweather to lose.

    Conor is also super ankward.

as Conor and everybody close him have said.this is not going to be a boxing match. It's going to be a fight.

Floyd is over 40. Retired for 2years. Conor is in his prime.

i don't really understand why every boxing fanatic writes Conor off.

Conor has so many advantages here it's ridiculous.

And lastly.most Floyd opponents were hypnotized into "boxing match" Conor will go there to fight. Not play this chess match.

Conor punches comes from different angles, footwork is ankward and different. Conor is bigger and atronger. Etc...

why everybody thinks Conor will take a traditional boxing stance and use traditional boxing punches? Yes.the. Conor would have 0chance. As does everybody else in this universum against Floyd.

you have to be smart.but you have to go broke.

That's why Floyd says he is going to go after Conor.and this will not last 12rounds.

Floyd knows Conor comes to fight. Not box there.

and i'm not saying i predict Conor to win. I give him a chance.especially the
    First 3-4 rounds are interesting.

i never understood why Canelo was mesmerized into a boxing match with Floyd. Canelo should have taken Maidana approach.

and btw..everytime Floyd been struggling.is when opponents force him into fighting and not boxing.

in my opinion boxing fanatics, trainers etc.. are too close minded. They never think out of the box. And boxing has not been evolved as other sports have done.

i know i'm getting flamed.that happens everytime you critices boxing. And again that's reason why boxing won't evolve.they refuse to even think anything outside of the box.

BTW. Zab fight was 11years ago. Why people use something that happened long time ago as example??

and now Floyd is also being retired for 2years. I bet Floyd doesn't train anymore like he used to.

oh.and Floyd is quite old. Fighting and other sports are generally young man's sport. Everyone loses a step when they go over 30.

Diaz is a grown man. Unlike manlet Floyd. Who also happens to be 10yrs older than Nate. And Nate match happened in MMA.

why in the earth you use this as example?

and last time you saw Floyd fight.was 2years ago. Do you still believe Floyd trains 24/7?

The truth is.nobody has a clue how Floyd will look. And nobody have a clue how ankward and different Conor is.oh and Conor is under 30..Floyd is a manlet

Hi all, Just a thought really and wonder what you guys think.
Obviously mcgregor is used to being allowed to touch down with his hands to steady himself 'if needed' during his mma career.
if floyd catches him and he is off balance, do you think he will be mindful to touch a glove down? and get a count.
bear in mind he is not a seasoned boxer and this is his first official boxing match.
Boxers are trained in the rules of boxing and how to adapt to different punches and weary the storm as they say?

i doubt he will do anything like kick or choke floyd but its the little things like a glove touch down. do you think this could happen and cause an even wider margin 'if' it goes to the cards?

i dont generally post threads but havent seen anyone touch on this part yet.

I agree, but I actually think boxing has devolved.

For instance, look at how Pep uses a combination of wrestling tactics, subtle foot movement, including switching stances, and positioning to dominate his opponents.

This is a guy that went 62 wins without his first loss and was 114-1 when he finally met his adversary, Sandy Sadler, who coincidentally shares a lot of things in common with McGregor, such as reach, size, and height advantages. Plus Sadler was one of the most devastating punchers ever at that weight class.

As you go back in time, you see a lot more talent than this current crop of boxers. It's a shame because they all have access to film, but like you said, people are close minded and often hateful.
