LOL I'm on my own but yet Forza just said he had it 7-5 which is one round away from a draw. Canelo was doing plenty of clean punching throughout the fight. Obvioulsy it's hard to land clean on Mayweather but Canelo landed some of the best quality punches Mayweather's ever been hit by. Just wasn't enough to get a decision in Mayweather's hometown, but I mean that's no surprise. Maidana threw about a million punches on Floyd and he couldn't get a decision vs Floyd in Vegas either. I woudn't be surprised if Conor surprises everyone next weekend but get robbed either. Floyd just doesn't lose decisions in Vegas. Conor may need to knock Floyd out or down multiple times to win a decision basically the same thing Triple G fans are saying about Canelo can be applied to many of Floyd's fights.

It's also a reasonable way to set up a pre-excuse in case GGG fails to clearly beat Canelo.

Surely its GGGs plan to secure a stoppage.

Canelo's scoring reminds me of that old boxing riddle - if Alvarez throws a punch but no judge is there to see it by how many points does he win the round?

Like Ive said many times already The majority of boxing fans EXPECT this fight to be yet another judging robbery & if Canelo is standing at the final bell he'll get the dec win regardless of what happened in the fight.
After all who is going to supervise & insist on fair play ? The NSAC ?? ROFLMAO
The May/Pac debacle proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are crooked as corkscrews themselves. All that matters to them is that their Cash Cow wins to keep the $$$$$ coming in. On May 1 & 2 2015 & in the days following they proved that to me
All I hope is the better man on the night gets the win he deserves no matter which man it is
For that to be GGG he's going to have to stop Canelo I'm afraid !!!!! WAR GGG !!!!!!!

Are ****ing kidding me? It's every other month that there is a robbery. You've had your fair share of posts in said robbery threads. Anyone who goes into a fight with a guy whose got a machine liek that behind him is a fool not be concerned about suspect scoring, let alone a biased chain going all the way back to the sanctioning body.

Nothing to see here folks, Canelo is treated just like everyone else, move along! LOL

Nobody has even brought up how going into a fight knowing you need a stoppage often times destroys ones ability to fight calmly and under control, simply letting the stoppage come, insted you push and make mistakes in effect giving your opponent more of an advantage. Like Canelo needs anymore advantages handed to him yet here is another.

Nope.... Nope..... Nope......... Cuckenlo will have no more A side perks than Ishida did! Didn't you know that every fighter is equal in this big bad world of boxing's proverbial/literal Orwellian Animal Farm?

The irony is that when Pac was with Bob at the tail end there, you were almost guaranteed a robbery in your favor and would be rewarded with a trilogy. Kind of a tangent but funny I think, right?

Trout got schooled, got legitimately knocked down by Canelo and was made to look like Bambi on Ice as he was falling down. Canelo landed the better punches, was the aggressor, the ring general, and won the fight clearly. I didn't like the open scoring though, I thought it affected the margin, but scoring it round by round there's no doubt that Canelo clearly won + the knockdown.

The Lara fight was closer than the Trout fight, but again Canelo landed the better punches, got inside did the body work that Lara couldn't do. There was no knockdown, Lara did go down but it was ruled a slip. Close fight that, but Canelo won comfortably 117-111 on one card and Moretti had it 115-113 Canelo on the other. Moretti had Lara winning 4 of the first 6 rounds, then had Canelo winning rounds 7, 8 and 9. Then he gave Lara the 10th and had Canelo winning the 11th and 12th. So Moretti had Lara doing well early but then saw Canelo taking over in the 2nd half of the fight winning 5 of the final 6 rounds.

Canelo vs Lara : close fight for sure, closer than Canelo Trout, but Canelo won close but clear. Arguable for Lara though.

You could say the same thing about Floyd vs Conor, that boxing fans expect Floyd to get the win if Conor is standing at the final bell regardless of what happened in the fight.

I didn't deny the possibility of favoritism nor the justification for suspicion. I merely pointed out what the consequences for being in such a suspicious state of mind can be-desperate risk taking which might prove counterproductive. Nothing more.

    BTW

Yes, I have posted comments concerning what I viewed as unfair interference by referee and unfair decisions by the judges.

Can you elaborate, your interpretation of irony did not resonate with me.
