Limpnuts don't stand a chance. If Crawdaddy leaves without defending then you got Josh Taylor, Regis Prograis and Limpnuts. Maybe some bypassed fighters like Imam or Granados will get a shot. My money is on Progais hands down.
Waste of time fight. TC is obviously a level above this guy. People will just say he was rubbish after TC wins in ruthless fashion. No point to this fight, none at all. Its not even a money fight.
I haven't given up on Ievgen yet. He can still make a comeback, its not over for him yet. He was concussed from sparring The Miracle Man.
No, he was talking about Edner Cherry, who Rhodes basically shutout yet got brutally robbed against. Unless you were just asking about the Lipinets-Rhodes match, Rhodes certainly didn't win that one, he did well for the first half, but was dominated in the second half.
I detected nothing in how Lipinet handled the Rhodes fight that would indicate a serious problem for Crawford. Rhodes wasn't countering Lipinet's misses in the latter part of the bout. Crawford would punish such misses as he did with Indongo with a deadly effect. BTW Part of the reason that Rhodes backed off in the latter part of the fight was because his corner told him to go on the defensive once they noticed that Lipenet was beginning to connect. Ironically, that's the advice that should have been given to Meldrick Taylor in that last round against Chavez Senior. Instead, Lou Duva told him that the fight depended on that last round and to go out and fight as if it did. Reminds me of a film I saw about Jack Dempsey where it portrays Dempsey as being inconsistent in his results prior to fighting for the HW championship and lacking a certain essential self confidence until a manager expressed unwavering confidence in Dempsey's ability to obliterate anyone in front of him including Jess Willard. That managerial approach seemed to imbue Dempsey with an invincible unwavering determination.
Lipinets is a little spark plug, but he's nowhere near ready for Crawford, at all. he's not even ready for Postol, he should be trying to get Lundy, Imam, Orozco or Barthelmey.
Should be another day at the office for Bud, but SL earned the shot. Nothing wrong with taking out a contender on the way up.
Lipinets would get destroyed, as would most at 140. Crawford is just levels above the rest of the division.
Point to where I said he wouldn't? I was saying that his competition up until now hasn't been that great, Imam is that level or a bit higher, as was everyone else I mentioned as potential opponents. Lipinets isn't ready for Crawford or Postol.
