Indeed, but I doubt the result was what Black Cloud was expecting, or hoping for.

It wasn't what Teresa May was expecting or hoping for that's for sure.

She definitely ate a big piece of humble pie. Nobody to blame but herself

Are you talking about the poll where every option except one was either completely derogatory or absurdly patronizing?

That's better than Primo's actual record.

It was a no nonsense two option poll. Legit, or not legit.

Think of it like this, if we did a poll on Micky Rourkes boxing career, we would not need more than two options to decide if he was world class or not.

If you want to find out if a guy is a phoney or not you don't put down three options.

I would've preferred for an option in that poll of... A Champion, but one of the worst Lineal ones.

    Primo Carnera.
The proof that story telling and media quality can sway the majority to adopting unreasonable and inaccurate opinions of great boxers.

Anyone who can watch this Round 1 of Carnera vs. Sharkey II, and say that Primo, for a SHW, wasn't well balanced, fast, crafty, strong, punched powerfully and in sharp combos, and didn't have great defense and reflexes, simply don't know what they're looking at. I put my entire credibility on that statement.

Riddick was a pocket fighter. They are very different fighters.
Their achievement in the sport is about matched, you can argue in favor for either.

Of course a vote like this is going to be this unbalanced.
A popular modern badass fighter with great style, achievement, and ability.
Versus a guy who was probably the single most wrongfully treated boxer by Boxiana lore. The fact that Carnera got any votes is a miracle.

Never forget the travesty his legacy had to endure.

Oooh! Are we posting Carnera streamables again? Here are the ones that I posted a while back:

If you still need footage, here's Primo demonstrating some of his superior outboxing skills by cutting off the ring-- I mean plodding around the ring following the slick, elusive Max Baer, while pawing and slapping with his jab:

    https://streamable.com/wu1ny

Here we see his stellar long-range defensive skills and reflexes (while backing straight up with his chin exposed to a big puncher):
    https://streamable.com/bqkdl

Here we see him looking awkward and slow against a fairly unimpressive, undistinguished superheavyweight foe:
    https://streamable.com/x5lxs
    https://streamable.com/2jfi8

In this short clip he reaches with punches, punches off the wrong foot while off balance, and backs away from an attack straight back with his head up and chin exposed:

Here we see him struggling to keep 200-lber Larry Gains off of him, en route to losing what was apparently a one-sided fight:
    https://streamable.com/6xxu6

Here he's getting outjabbed by 6'0, 76-in reach Jack Sharkey:

Here he's looking clueless and out of ideas against 186-lb Tommy Loughran:

    Such a bad analysis imo.
Mostly showing him at his worst moments, ie getting punched, recovering from a fractured ankle, etc.
    Noob stuff.

I can post clips of Bowe getting rocked and looking silly too.
There is nothing of substance here.

This is a no lose situation for you!lol Bowe if he had trained like Lewis might have been as good and possibly could have beaten him.Carnera would not make a suitable sparring partner for Lewis. We have first hand testimony from former worlds heavyweight champions and contenders ,saying
    Carnera had nothing
    He pushed his jab
    He lacked power.
He falls apart when his defence is breached
He is very open to a right hand

But you of course know better!
