People think Floyd will get the tko because Floyd is several levels above Conor in skill and Conor has a horrendous gas tank. Floyd will make Conor miss, Floyd will beat Conor to the body further gassing him out. All the while Floyd will be landing check hooks and straight rights, cutting Conor up. Floyd tko 7, Conor might quit on his stool.

Maidana (first fight) did just that and he was a pro boxer so IMO the MMA guy has one chance and it's not going to be easy at any rate. He can jump in Floyd and throw crazy punches until the BOXING ref breaks the action and Floyd will reset and figure this kid out quickly.

mcgregors best strategy would be to sit back and box. his only chance is to land a counter left and get a ko. pressing and throwing alot of wild unecessary punches will get connor tired and koed. When mayweather counters and goes to hold rough his ass up or throw him down.

Well, Cortez did make it very easy for Floyd to beat Hatton by constantly preventing infighting. Was that when Floyd kissed him on the cheek?

I'm sure Hatton didn't agree to ref bias when he signed the fight contract. Maybe it was included in the microscopically small lettering on the bottom of the contract page.

Cortez is always a very fair referee. So something else, perhaps in relation to karma, might have been interfering with his performance during that bout.

 

No one thinks that McGregor actually has a chance at defeating Floyd, do they? The next big fight is Alvarez-Golovkin. Has everyone forgotten how easily Floyd handled Canelo?
