Steve- I think GGG's best win was Jacobs and I think most would agree with me.

To the OP, just because someone has a loss, it doesn't mean they should take a back seat to someone without a loss. There is no problem at all ranking Choco, Loma or Canelo (if he beats GGG) ahead of Bud. It's subjective and losses now don't need to be the death knell that some make them out to be.

The disrespect that Salido gets is unreal.
Mikey Garcia, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Juan Manuel Lopez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Vasyl Lomachenko...
He's fought a murderer's row at the height of their powers and always gave them problems.

arguing about p4p is a waste of time. If you're a crawford fan you have him at #1, ward fan him at #1, loma fan him at #1. who cares man there is no p4p belt or extra money.

If losses are taken into account, FMJ should never have been number 1 for all of these years because he clearly lost vs Castillo. Ward lost the first fight with Kov in the majority of people's eyes so he shouldn't be number 1 neither.

Could any of Crawford or Ward's opponents beat them if they just didn't bother making weight and then repeatedly low blowed them without consequence?

A loss means nothing. Specially when it happened sometime ago. Great atgs lost their first fight or several of their first figths, some of them by ko, like argüello or armstrong.

That 0 is worth nothing. I dont know why people love it so much. I'd rather prefer a 2 loses fighter fighting the bests than a 0 loses fighter fighting bums in germany for 40 years.

I love floyd's boxing, but his 0 hurt the sport. Before him nobody cared so much about a loss.

That top three is perfectly fine, but the reasoning ("because he has a loss") is not particularly strong.

I could care less about records. If a fighter has 10 losses, but he's on a hit streak and he's beating the very best, no question he's #1. Records are so overrated today, more than ever.

No problem with the top 3, but heres a little food for thought...He's got a loss, but he's also got the same number of title fights as Ward and one less than Bud in less than 4 years as a pro and 10 fights. He's also never fought someone with a losing record.

Andre turned pro in 2004 coming off an Olympic gold. Bud turned pro in 2008. Ones been pro over 3x as long as Loma, the other 2x as long. If the Rigo fight comes off in December, he'll have more title fights than Ward despite turning pro 9 years later. That's nuts.

Also, Monster Inoue is getting criminally overlooked again. 8-0 in title fights, two division champ, dominated the top competitian to get those titles...I'm glad he's coming over here to fight so he can get the exposure in the West he deserves.
