I don't think that Khan can outbox Crawford period. I don't believe that he would win any consecutive rounds and the end result will probably be him stretched out on the ring apron.
There's more reason to believe khan would outbox Crawford than it being the other way round. Khan has outboxed the likes of Canelo, Judah and Maidan, while Crawford has outboxed the Indongo's, Dierry Jean's Hank Lundy's and Molina's of this world.
Crawford in 6. Technically levels above Khan, I'd give Khan 1 round before Crawford starts shutting him down.
Khan ain't nothing for Crawford when you get through talking. Crawford outboxes him, beats his ass and then knocks him out.
It's easy to say Crawford would do this and that, yet it is based on absolutely nothing. I could say Lomachenko would ko Wilder, doesn't mean that is how it would play out. Khan's hand speed would cause Crawford all sorts of problems, plus his reach advantage.
