How's getting tagged while generally being inactive "taking more risks against a lesser fight like Smith" anyway. I mean, did he take risks against Khan as well? Did Golovkin take risks against Brook?

Again, sometimes when a fighter knows he can take his opponents punches, he will strategically lower his guard to invite the opponent to come in to create openings and traps...

For the amount of time you spend on a boxing forum, you sure lack an understanding of very simple concepts.

I don't know about GGG-Brook because some of those punches that Brook was landing were pretty damaging, even lifting GGG off his feet once... But when a fighter like Liam Smith lands at a higher percentage than Cotto or Trout, clearly Canelo was allowing Smith to open up to create openings... Its a pretty common strategy guys, come on, how long have you watched boxing?

Sure, OK. Actually, I want Canelo to be this strategic mastermind you make him out to be, he might find his way out of the corners and off the ropes.

Again, STOP WITH THE AD HOMINEM ATTACKS, if you think posting on a message board is so pathetic and you like to criticize people who do it, Mr. You Spend Too Much Time On Here (Then you go to sleep and get back on here 6 hours later the moment you wake up) like you did the other day. If posting on this site is so beneath you, I'll gladly permanently alleviate you of your problem.

And that's the only reason, because Canelo allowed Smith to land more? Get Canelo's dick outta your butt punk...

So, did Brook expose Golovkin's lack of head movement or did Golovkin invite him to create openings?

STFU, I not once said ANYTHING that you're spewing on your post. GTFO with this garbage post. My point is that for someone who spends his life here, you lack a lot of boxing common sense and do a terrible job moderating.

YOU continuously ban good posters for having opposing views who school you, yet allow trolls and other posters you relate too post the most ridiculous garbage only because you share their same sentiments.

    Not sure, why?

One thing is for sure, Golovkin has demonstrated a lack of head movement in MOST of his fights. In contrast, Canelo has shown superb head movement against accurate volume punchers, and has shown to be more stationary against lower caliber opposition.

How's this not being biased? I mean you say Canelo fights differently against lower caliber opposition, which I can agree with, yet don't say the same about Golovkin. Then you completely ignore the fact that Golovkin could not give less ****s about head movement even if he tried, simply no real need for it if you can parry, dodge or jab the hell out of your opponent if you happen to fight someone who means business and if not, just take the punch cuz` you can and that's what people came to see (you know, being more stationary against lower caliber opposition)

Its not bias because its a fact.

Canelo has shown superb defense and head and waist movement against fighters he needs to be weary of, but against fighters who are there for the picking he doesn't need to use the same strategy. Just look at his fight against Trout, and compare it to his fight against Angulo, and you can see how he incorporates much better defense against Trout.

Golovkin has never truly shown good defense, the only fight where his strategy was anything other than clobbering his opponent with his superior strength was against the very limited Lemieux.

As an example, GGG took more punishment against Daniel Geale because of his lack of defense, than Cotto did against him just 11 months later.

This myth had been shattered by every fan that know what to look for. He doesn't make huge drastic defensive moves but when he knows her shouldn't be taking any shots he moves his head enough.

There very subtle movements, I don't expect rookies and or the trolls out there to be able to actually see what's really going on in that ring.

You're proving to be of the rookie of worse troll club. Pay closer attention, he's airways had very high level defence.

You don't wonder why Jacob's, lemmy or even Stevenson couldn't hardly land anything clean. Those were the big hitters that he used his defense.

Clueless, this forum is on the youtude level

NO, you STFU, you DO NOT know who I've banned and who I haven't, so stop acting like you do. I did not ban your boyfriend Shockmaster, that was another Mod, I don't spend my life on this site, I've barely been on it for the last two months, I make sporadic appearances, usually once a day for a few minutes, or throughout the night when everyone else is sleeping and I'm bored. You can say I lack common sense and boxing knowledge, but the fact that I EASILY can destroy every argument El Chicano and you make with at times a single post, that sends to both into triggered tizzies for hours on end, tells an entirely different story.

For the record, I'm assuming you think I have some anti-Mexican, because you post on virtually no other threads than Canelo related ones. But if you read anything I write other than stuff about GGG you'd realize, I promote Mexican fighters FAR MORE than you do, and I consider myself a devotee of Mexican fighters, so don't even think about attempting than lame ass argument.
