Fury is done. Too fat and no will power to climb and conquer that huge lard belly mountain. If it was a smack talk contest he'd still be a contender. That's all he got now.
Fury barely beat Wlad in a very cautiously won decision Joshua went in there and knocked Wlad out There's your answer as to who would win between these two
The Fury that beat Wlad probably would beat Joshua too with his movement. I might favor Joshua against a coming out of retirement Fury. He lost motivation or whatever.
If Fury is in tip top shape he will beat Joshua, probably knock him out, but at least a well deserved UD...............
Be a good fight, sadly I think it would have only been competitive if it happened 2 years ago. Fury is too far gone now. I think AJ would hurt Fury at some point during the fight, he has been floored and hurt by much worse opponents, but he always weathered the storm by holding and leaning, which is smart. This means there is a chance AJ could gas again or lose on points if he doesn't find the kill. I think it is 50/50. But now that Fury has ballooned up to the size of an elephant, I just don't see him being competitive against someone of AJ's class. If he comes back and cleans up the division, it would be a miracle of Ali proportions.
Prime Fury...AJ wouldn't be able to lay a significant shot on him and would get his head boxed off. Not sure what Fury will be like on his return though, I just hope he doesn't step in a ring with AJ until he's 100% focussed. We could potentially be talking about a Hughie Fury fight with him first though if he beats Parker.
The Fury that beat Wlad would out point AJ. But I doubt we'll ever see Fury in the ring again and if we do he won't be the same. Also even if he can get back to his old self by the time he does Joshua may have gotten good enough to beat him. We all know what happened when they sparred. Joshua caught him with an uppercut which definitely got Fury's attention and then Fury out boxed him. I think that pretty much sums up each others chances at their best. Fury can out box Joshua no doubt with his size, reach and movement but Joshua can get to Fury and this wouldn't be the skinny amateur with sparring gloves on hitting him on the chin but a bigger, stronger one with smaller gloves. It's a shame we'll never see this fight.
If fight ever happens it won't be for a couple of years. By then AJ should have improved his movement, enhanced his experience and aligned with his existing power and solid technique would be too much for even a tip top in shape Fury. Would love to see the fight though. Easily the two best HWs around .
