This whole thing is a setup to bilk the public of their hard earned cash. When Paulie keeps saying "suckas", that's who he's talking about.

Paulie looking bad everywhere. Now looks like a puppet. I don't buy it, he's pissed and Floyd took the opportunity to take a shot at Conor, Paulie accepted to make it look like he played Conor.

Conor was a ***** for the pics and vid though.

can't wait for this to be over so casual fans shut the **** up

they don't get it this build up is like every other Floyd fight though they never seen him fight or the build up

conor is not the first trash talker he fought first disrespectful guy he fought first to say he will kill Floyd or die in the ring and works hard while Floyd doesn't

I laugh at the YouTube comments and idiots who don't watch boxing try and tell me Floyd sucks or just runs and holds

he did none of that vs guerrero cotto maidana canelo etc

he's gonna kick mcnuggets ass and I'll love every second of it

Depressingly well put. Too many on this forum are sticking their heads in the sand. Yes, if it's competitive and McGregor as much as wins rounds it will be a black eye for boxing. And McGregor winning may well be the most devastating hit against boxing in its history, worse than infamous ring deaths like Benny Paret and Davey Moore.

I disagree that there's 'no' scenario that would be good for boxing. With so many non-boxing and mma fans watching who are calling for his and boxing's head Floyd utterly and impressively dominating before beating up McGregor towards a knockout would shut them up and show them that boxing is serious stuff. He would have to not get touched and offensively be as devastating as he was against Gatti/Chavez/Ndou. If he's so impressive that a significant number of first time or occasional boxing viewers would realise there's something to this boxing thing; that they end up praising the sport and are curious enough to want to check out what other boxers and fights boxing offers. If Floyd looks as impressive as he ever has people will praise boxing who never have before.

But the conundrum: McGregor could offer so little resistance that Floyd can't impress. From a Floyd first punch knockout from a punch that shouldn't end it, to a McGregor DQ, to a third round stoppage after McGregor sloppily rushing Floyd and Floyd careful as we should expect for the first couple anyway, to McGregor not engaging and somehow avoiding too much punishment before any kind of ending. Boxing needs nothing less than a Mayweather clean exhibition of the highest skill with a beatdown behind it, with a knockout or ref stoppage ending it somewhere from the third to seventh.

If Floyd loses, boxing may take a hit that it may never recover from - ever.

Huge, huge risk for the sport, the world's watching and the world's put a target on Floyd's back. There's a chance too that Floyd can give boxing as a whole a boost it hasn't had for decades, though it's less likely and it'll take his absolute best performance. I'm as psyched for this as any fight.

I think if Mayweather wins a decision and has a couple of potentially rough moments in the fight then it would be rubbed off as Floyd's had a two year layoff and is 40 years old. I don't think it's a ''black eye'' in that sense considering time waits for no man.

I think if Floyd loses then it would affect the ''casual market'' viewership for boxing who would only see the ''surface level'' of the event.. i.e.. ignoring Mayweather's age and layoff. The arrogance of Conor will get greater and some mma fans will gloat and toast to the ''death of boxing'' because after all it isn't a ''real fight'' to them.

I think if Mayweather knocks out McGregor it could be curtains for UFC down the line considering how many problems they've got going for them at the moment with the debt, jon jones issue, reebok deal, USADA, lack of cash cows only McGregor. MMA won't be harmed though McGregor losing would rub extra salt in the wounds this week.

You've got a talent for this editing lark!

I particularly like the videos where there is music and you've mixed in other audio.

mayweather will win but it wont be too exciting after the 4th round, as mayweather has a lowish output and glass hands.

Yes, it is going to need a comprehensive demolition of McGregor for boxing to come out of this unscathed. I'm talking no controversies, no question marks, and absolutely no doubts in anyone's mind who the dominant guy was. Which is going to need a stoppage. No coulda, no woulda, no shoulda question marks.

Sorry, as good as Floyd is, as much as he's protected himself in the ring, as well conditioned as he is, and as inexperienced as McGregor is... if Floyd loses we can't just say 'it was a long layoff, it happens'. Not in this case. It would only be because boxing isn't good enough. And if we as boxing fans excuse his performance on his age, it won't look good on us and the sport.
