Unless it's scripted, then absolutely a chance, though small. Conor will have to push Floyd like Castillo and Maidana did. Body checks on the inside. Pound the arms and shoulders like Marciano and Foreman were known to do. Subtle tactics like Hopkins. If conor tries to outbox Floyd...lol, not going to happen.

Everyone has a chance.

You know when you watch an up and coming young fighter, and they're fighting another young guy who clearly isn't as good, but manages to survive a few rounds, has a bit of heart but ultimately loses and you never hear about him ever again. Well I think Conor is that guy you never hear about ever again. Except in this case, everyone knows who he is.

I have to believe if Conor had any talent for boxing, he would have continued on with it when he first took it up when he was a teenager. He certainly wouldn't have been broke 4 years.

But, we'll find out who is right tomorrow night.

 

Why is Floyd always portrayed as being stupid? Is it because his formal education is below par?

Kind of off-topic, but what is generally considered the best way to defend against a straight left hand when using the shoulder roll against a southpaw? Are you supposed to duck it, slip it, block it, etc?

It's seen as a big event....not a boxing vs UFC in boxing contest.

I must admit, this WWE event is going to be entertaining. More interesting for me than Floyd vs the Big Show or Hulk Hogan vs The Rock
