Mike Tyson was supposed to be unbeatable.
Mohammed Ali was once deemed unbeatable.
Marciano retired because he knew that he wasn't unbeatable and that to force himself beyond a certain point might result in an embarrassing loss.

 

Lets just put Floyd in with anyone then? I mean nobody is unbeatable so there must be a chance for somebody to beat him. That's a very weak argument. Sport is about competition and levels. Mayweather is on a different level to a fighter with a 0-0 record.

I never claimed that anyone could conceivably beat Floyd. I merely claimed that nobody is unbeatable. In fact, I consider that Castillo beat Floyd and DelaHoya could be considered a draw. Others see Maidana and Pacman as having beaten him as well just as they see Canelo having lost to Trout and Lara.

Then how come McGregor just went 1-1 with a gatekeeper in his own sport. Where was this unbridled confidence as he resorted to panic wrestling and gave himself up to be choked out, all because he was getting lit up in the stand up? Even in the rematch he just about scraped through with a MD after he spent a lot of the fight turning his back and running away.
