Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

First post but I read around 100 pages from different parts of this thread....I understand the punching power Mcgregor supposedly has, but the movement, footwork, quickness and defense is going to TBE. My questions is, how come nobody has mentioned anything about Mcgregors defense. It's because it is non existent. The fight yes is a joke and should be 99% Floyd does what he wants, but im just shocked nobody on TV or anywhere is mentioning that.

Just by avoiding that, its a publicity stunt and Conor and Dana can sell a fight for sure. Im watching it with friend, but unless conor throws some cheap shots or lands a lucky brain shattering punch with all his might, this should be 50-0 by the 8th round....if conor makes that long. He was winded after the diaz second fight midway through the 3rd.

 

I think Conor saw it as an opportunity to both A) test himself against a former world champ (with no risk, because Paulie is smaller and pillow fisted) and B) Pay Paulie back for talking **** on him a while back.

I think Paulie saw it as a good opportunity to get publicity.

Floyd saw it as a good way to hype the fight, and give McGregor some legitimacy as a boxer. Much like Freddie Roach revealed that Floyd actually visited him and asked him to accept an offer to train McGregor, if asked, in order to give Conor some boxing credibility.

Paulie screwed up by giving an interview after the first session, saying Conor's power was "good" but not "great". That was just dumb on his part.

Team Conor then retaliated with the video clips.

Now it's pretty obvious that Paulie has told Floyd everything he saw in the 2 sessions with Conor.

In the end, Floyd has benefited by the hype of the fight and gaining some knowledge about Conor. Paulie has benefited from the publicity and potential Conor fight down the road. Conor has benefited from the hype, but it's hurt him by giving Floyd info about his style and strategy.

Floyd comes out on top here, as expected.

 

Everyone knows Castillo beat him in the first fight. He got a gift from Arum.

Maidana also beat him in the first fight 7-5.

 

You have the scores backwards son. Castillo whopped that ass and then Arum wrapped a Christmas gift for Floyd.

 

Either way, they are both boxers....Yet this is floyd v mcgregor.

 

Nah the forward gear is in case they bushwhack him from behind.

 

Floyd can taste that cash already

 

If Conor manages to hurt Mayweather early it will change the complexion of the fight and the odds will suddenly drop.

 

Just heard from a friend that McGregor hurt his ankle running. Can anyone verify this?

 

Fight is supposedly postponed!

 

Hopefully he will hurt Floyd running tomorrow.
