    He's either fighting in a division too low or he is not taking training seriously enough and going the Broner route.

    The guy has clear talent so if it's the latter then I'm disappointed.

    Like Broner in the past, it's not even like Davis missed the weight by a tiny fraction, either: he missed it by two whole pounds. :shakehead:

    He might have realised during the week that he was way off and decided to just not risk his health and take the financial penalty and lose the belt. That's unprofessional yes, but it might genuinely be the case that the weight just wasn't moving. Happens.
