Skills pay the bills. And the skills gap here is so immense, that Mays 40 year old body and smaller frame is not going to be a factor in this fight.

May KO win in 3 rounds.

Floyd will fight his normal fight, all the big talk about taking it to McGregor is just for show to sell the fight. Mayweather has been out of the ring for a while and is 40, he'll take his time, pick McGregor apart and if Conor tires late he'll try and finish him.

I don't usually like trash talkers but McGregor is kind of funny to me.

Why somebody would train boxing if you want to survive?MMA is obvious choice.

I like both boxing and MMA. But sometimes many posters here remind Bob Arum in their opinions..

slight hit on the reputation with casuals?boxing has already went downhill for years.were do you see boxing gym's etc..

who small boy wants to be a boxing champ?they want to be Conor then.

and other MMA fighters would cross over too yes. But only Conor is special kind of athlete and sadly Conor winning would have disasterous effect on boxing.as boxing is already on it's last leg.

and no i'm not saying this MMA is big.or is going to be big sport.

But cold truth is that year 2017 MMA is bigger on mainstream and the gap is widening.

Boxing has been devolved so badly over 100yrs period. From the biggest sport in the world to situation where we are now and still everyone keeps denying.

As a fan of Boxing i hope McGregor puts this stain on the sport to sleep. Thats all Mayweather has ever been as far as im concerned, a dirty shitty stain on the sport of Boxing and other shitty stains have learned from him, stains like ODH.

This is one weird event, I hope it goes ridiculously wrong so it never happens again. Lennox Lewis was right that floyd shouldn't be 50 and 0 from this fight. If it was being marketed as the exhibition it is it would be easier to stomach. I can't even anylayse it as a fight, what possibly can mcgregor do that floyd cant in boxing terms?

In what way? Boxing has had a much better year in pretty much all metrics...

In 2017: Boxing has superior PPV numbers (Canelo vs Chavez has outsold every MMA event this year, just in the US), Joshua vs Klitscho is iconic at this point, and had bigger PPV numbers than any MMA fight this year. The list goes on.... And free boxing events on average are still viewed more than free MMA events.

People have been saying "Boxing is dead/dying" literally since 1917. A dying sport doesn't have the top 3 best selling PPVs of all time with 2 of them from this decade (and one from 2007) if it's "badly" dying.

It's usually insecure ufc fanbois who say ''boxing is dead'' ''boxing isn't a real fight'' blah blah.

The truth is UFC is in debt and some fighters are leaving for bellator. The new hollywood owners dunno wtf they're doing. The Fertitas got out of dodge at the right time and sold for 4 billion dollars and still own 10 percent of the company. I don't think they were clue'd up in buying and their financial forecast kind of looks gloomy as it's reliant on one man to sell PPV's.

McGregor is the only cashcow they have left.

Ronda has retired with two back to back knockout losses.

Jon Jones has been busted for an illegal substance again and this time not estrogen blockers but the anabolic steroid Turinabol. He faces upto 4 years suspension.

Boxing is more popular in the UK than UFC is in america.

I quite like MMA as well, but exactly. And I don't know why they say it.

McGregor is likely retiring after this, he has mentioned previously he wants to cash out while young and ride off into the sunset. So after that, they're gonna have some low points for the next while.

Worldwide Boxing still dwarfs MMA, except in like Brazil.

Floyd knocking this guy spark out cold, When a guy is gassed and already hurt, it doesn't take a huge punch to knock a guy out cold. Connor's going to be taking multiple clean shots to the chin, He's getting knocked out.
