Both fighters go flying through the ropes 15 seconds into the first round! Canelo takes out Dela Joya who was distractedly chatting about his next promotion and smiling broadly. Golovkin plows head first into Ward who was sleepily and dreamingly sipping on his drink via a straw and slowly munching on chips.
I can't pick either of the two because there are just too many unpredictable variables involved. For example, 1. Possible biased ref interference 2. Possible judges bias 3. Possible unpredictable fighter improvement 4. Possible seemingly sudden fighter physical deterioration 5. Possible fist, limb or joint injury during the fight. 6. Possible temporary distraction
Unless the ref calls them slips, accuses Golovkin of stepping on Canelo's toes and repeatedly deducts points.
70/30 FOR GGG I can see the first 4 rounds getting scored very closely but still calling for GGG to score multi KDs and finish Big Red by late TKO rounds 9-11
While any those variables may be a factor in this or ANY fight, Canelo has a history of performing well against punchers while Golovkin has looked less than spectacular against better skilled fighters.
well he won every round hahahha. The thing is, Chavez has never been stoped at mw. His only stoppage came at 175. Lil G wouldn't have stopped Chavez either. I'm sure Chavez would have won a few rounds against LIl G.
