Did you see the look on Floyd's face when he said that to Jim.

Conor is going to get punished like Gatti.

 

Floyd and McGregor aren't individual competitors, they are representatives of their sports and metaphors. If Floyd knocks out McGregor as he should it conclusively proves boxers can punch and mma fighters can't take a punch.

 

This. Conor gasses in 2-3 rounds in mma fights, but people think he's going to last 12 rounds against Floyd. Unless Floyd bet big on the fight going over 9.5 rounds, which I could see him doing, but otherwise he stops Conor in 5-6 rounds.

 

And it shouldn't, if I see any Mayweather fan praising any type of win, even a "sensational" KO I will absolutely slaughter them.

If I could swear on here I would LOL I feel that strongly about it.

It's basically a novice amateur Vs a multi weight world champion and a very good one at that, it shouldn't go the distance, it shouldn't go 6 rounds, it shouldn't go 3.

Mayweather should and probably will wreck McGregor and wreck him quickly.

It should be a farce, anything else and Mayweather should get slaughtered.

 

Floyd better stop him in 5 but no later than 10

 

I was thinking that Mayweather would breaze through Mcgregor but i have been analysing the circumstances for some time now and i think its going the full twelve rounds and Mayweather will not look impressive. He wont struggle to win in that Mcgregor will rock or knock him down. Nonetheless he will win in a laboured fashion where he shows his age. Thoughts

 

I had a bit of a bet in it lasting under 6.5 rounds @5/4. I think McGregor seriously struggles from the 4th.

 

10 is far too long, anything over 5 and Mayweather should quit on his stool "due to embarrassment"

 

I actually think this could look kind of like the Ortiz fight where Conor does something stupid and gets caught off guard and Floyd torches him. I def. think Conor's muscle memory is going to betray him tonight. He doesn't have boxer muscle memory, and he is going to get caught 'thinking' in there. He will be in there with his hands and arms away from his body, squared up, and he's going to get lit up.

I agree, I'd even take Sam Eggington to give McGregor a beating.

 

Boxing is a branch of the Martial Arts and not totally detached from it as you seem to be assuming.
