Gentlemen, this really is boxing vs mma. If Mayweather doesn't win it will be the worst imaginable black eye for boxing. Boxing will be done as credible sport. He has to win impressively.

In addition to risking the most money I've bet on a match in a long time on Mayweather, with boxing at stake I'll put my fandom at stake too: if McGregor beats Mayweather I will 1) NEVER bet again; 2) NEVER post here again; and 3) NEVER watch boxing again. I won't be able and won't want to support boxing if Mayweather somehow can't beat this McGregor UFC guy.

If Mayweather somehow loses and boxing takes a credibility hit we'll need to send our secret weapon Amir Khan into an MMA fight. He's bound to win as the opponent will submit to laughing so hard at the glass chinned one it would be painful.

That's a bit dramatic. Why would you never watch the sport again? There is a possibility, however slim, that Floyd has gotten old, that McGregor's striking, movement and timing are better than anyone thought. Slim chances, but could happen. Wouldn't stop watching the sport over one fight for any reason.
