Geese, really whats the point of asking if a still pretty good heavy could beat a have nothing left Lar, at least at that time. Larry couldn't pull the trigger for a million dollars in this fight and while he rebounded nicely for the second Spinks go it wasn't there here. Floyd goes in and out nicely and lands more then enough to take the decision but again, so what.

Patterson is not intimidated by Holmes. He is peak and would outwork and outland a ready to be felled Holmes.

Patterson avoids getting hurt in this and lands more than Larry. But it's still a split decision win only for Patterson.

Because more likely than not, a prime Holmes would beat Patterson. So the question is could Patterson take a slightly past prime Holmes?

I wonder how an almost 43 year old Holmes does against a prime Evander Holyfield??? Some things must remain a mystery......my guess is Holyfield via one way trainwreck of a massacre!!!

Though Larry regained some of his form in the second Spinks bout, he looked totally shot and considerably past his good days in the first go as he did in his previous fights also.
