He was winning until he tired. He was pretty smart in there, I didn't expect that. He's a smart fighter.

Reminded me of Ali vs Mildenberger. Speedy defensive boxer forced to be more aggressive against an awkward southpaw.

Floyd has a very good chin and he's very difficult to catch clean. Trust me you don't want to eat a Mystic Mac straight left counter down the pipe with 4oz gloves on.

Please McGregor fans, inspire McGregor to fight Jacobs, Quillin, GGG, or Canelo. Have him even fight Chavez jr. if he really wants a fun time.

Chavez jr. would laugh at McGregor. It would be McGregor's worst nightmare. Hey, the money is there.

Lets be real, It was his first ever boxing match against one of the greatest boxers of all time, and he took Floyd deep. There is no excuses, if Mayweather could have he would have knocked out Conor early, but he didnt because he cant. Conor was incredibly slick and unpredictable, Mayweather didnt look impressive.

Mayweather has always had a reach advantage over his opponents, plus the IV usage to mask PED agents, he had difficulty with Conor's reach. Just imagine if Conor had more than one Pro boxing match.

Maybe but he knew he couldn't go 12 so should have fought him and not boxed him. If the plan was to win that is.

He won the first and possibly the second and third on work rate alone because Floyd was sussing him out. That is not outboxing. From the 4th onward Floyd was playing with him like a kitten with a ball of yarn.

He wasn't loading up on his shots apart from a couple early counter uppercuts. It was mostly weak jabs and slapping rabbit punches.

With improved stamina, proper training and exerience Conor would beat all of them actually.

Yes, absolutely. He can't punch, he especially can't punch on the inside, he has no chin, and he has horrible stamina.

But his foot work was very good for an inexperienced boxer, and his reflexes and timing really were AMAZING. He was timing Floyd with lefts that we thought would never work in boxing! He was simply outboxing Floyd in the first three and continued to do well on the outside till he tired. This guy is a great athlete. And he has incomparable cojones to get in the boxing ring with Mayweather. Floyd might deserve some criticism, but we shouldn't be giving McGregor anything but praise.

I'm not entirely sure what to make of what I saw. McGregor used angles and his jab somewhat decently. Mayweather had a few notable misses early, but he also didn't throw much through the first 3 rounds. Was he toying with him, or was it ring rust?

How did McGregor only condition himself to fight 25 minutes for this?
