Really it turned out to be the freak show it was going to be..

Mayweather was a shell of himself and Mc Gregor looked like a novice...

Honestly anyone thinking it was a win for either sport is dilusional. It was just a money grab (a sucessful one).

Given Mc Gregor is really a middle weight how would he go v GGG or Canelo? Or any other top middleweight..

It would be a very easy early night...

He he got the take down, then yes, it's game over.

My point was that McGregor in the boxing world is simply not good enough, as boxing is all you're allowed to do. Obvious, I know.

If ggg went into MMA he would at least have an elite skill. MgGregor would have to go for the take down, and kicks, but even that holds great risk, as for the first time, he would be dealing with someone that could knock him out when he comes him. Not just because they are more powerful, but because they are also more accurate, and much greater boxing reflexes.

As I said, my money would be on McGregor in MMA, but I wouldn't rule our the boxer, but I will rule out McGregor in the boxing ring against someone like a ggg.

Floyd's gotta retire though, he looked very sloppy today, yes he got off the layoff but the quickness, the reflexes aren't even there anymore.

Threw a lot less than he used to, used the jab a lot less.

This is the perfect way to go though. He walked that sucker down and knocked his ass out, this will be a fight that many will rewatch.

the first 3 rounds mayweather lost because he could not outbox a fresh mcgregor at a distance. i think he realized at this point that his best chance was to come forward and make mcgregor fight hard and hopefully gas. mcgregor fights good at the distance and at a slow pace.

the reason mcgregor gassed so badly was because he was in with floyd mayweather. you gas harder against better opponents and he had no idea what he was getting himself in too. mcgregor learned alot tonight about what it takes to compete at the highest levels of boxing and will have to develop himself if he wants to keep at it.

Conor just wanted the money. There's no point for him to continue boxing. Why look bad in another sport?

Floyd was exposed by an MMA fighter tonight. A weight-drained debut boxer schooled Floyd for six rounds, then ran out of gas. Floyd won rounds 7, 8 and 9, and then easily stopped a completely exhausted Conor in the 10th.

    TBE? The Best Entertainer.

Conor is the best fighter of our time - not Floyd.

no his best asset is his striking (that includes kicks) and fight iq, sorry bud but mcgregor would take ggg down after the first clinch, mcgregors a bjj brown belt, and has legit wrestling, not compared to other elite ufc grapplers but enough to take a pure boxer down at will, dont be confused.

GGG would definitely have a puncher's chance. But you saw how easily Conor got behind Floyd. Floyd has great boxing footwork, but would be completely ineffective if he was in MMA. GGG would fair better because of his punching power.

    Lmao. You mad bruh?

An elite primed mma fighter with a size advantage couldnt go 10 rounds with a small defensive 40 year old giving up 15lbs and coming out of retirement lmao.

Dont take the L so hard.

Conner was outboxing floyd with ease! I am totally impressed. Floyd was getting tagged and slapped at will.
I really thought floyd would run through him. Very impressive

I wasnt planning on seeing it but i saw it was made available so i watched. Yes FlIVd looked every bit of his 40 years but he also didnt even attempt to fight the way he usually does. He came forward and threw power shots and took a few good shots. Did i think Conor had any chance of winning at any point? No. Would he be in danger of losing to some of the top guys in the ww division right now? Problably.
