My point was that clinching someone like ggg when he's got 4oz gloves on is going to be a lot easier said than done, especially when he knows it will be game over if he is caught in a clinch.

Come on now, we've seen McGregor use boxing to avoid the clinch before, and against fighters more accustomed to wrestling etc. If McGregor can do it with his lousy boxing skills, I'm confident ggg could do it to McGregor, who's ground work isn't particularly good anyway. Food for thought.

Yes because every fighter outside of Floyd fights world champions - every single fight.

The fighters of the past who padded their records with 2-30 fighters = counts

Floyd fighting a 2 weight world champion in UFC = Doesn't count

Patterson beating Rademacher (Who was 0-0 btw) counts

Floyd beating McGregor (Who was 0-0) doesn't count.

    Cool story, bro.

Hope you did get the TKO bet in, as I thought it lasted a bit longer than 6 rounds.

To the Thread starter how many mansions, luxury cars, Hublot and Vacheron watches do you own?

Lets do a comparison between you and Floyd.

And he just won a fight and got paid $90 million for it

    Seriously??

The entire fight was fake. McGregor was so open for a left and right counter from round 1. Zero defense, ZERO, and Floyd, one of the fastest most accurate puncher loses the first half of the fight against a plodder with NO defense... Lol

Even the post fight interview was completely scripted and dull...

"Floyd fought like a Mexican" lol Pandering to the biggest PPV market hahahah

    Funny fight though

Or even smaller like 6 oz. See nothing bad happened tonight with their hands and floyd looked fast as hell with those little gloves on for 40 years old. Let all boxers up till about 175lbs use them.

Yes I bet on Floyd TKO. Didn't bet on above 6.5 rounds though

Yes any of the top level, he is 40yo and relied on his speed and ringcraft.. He was not quick and he was fighting a pushing forward style which he wasn't really used to doing but he looked like a retired boxer...

No shame in that as he is...

Floyd is not a hard puncher and McGregor was arm punching the entire fight.

    Fixed fight

Conor looked terrible in there. His punching technique was worse than an amateur boxer with a losing record.

I assume two possible explanations for Floyd not blowing him out of there in 2-3 rounds:

    1. Extreme caution, and he wanted to wait for Conor to burn out
    2. It was fixed, that he would carry Conor into the second half of the fight and stop him then.

Thats what floyd's plan. Let Conor throw all his heavey shots until he gass out.. Floyd clearly just played with him so stop whinning like abitch MF
