Wait, a 27 year old in his prime wearing 8oz gloves gassed out against a 40 year old who hasn't fought in almost two years? Tell us you're joking. It was the 40 year old who gassed out right?

He was out of the game for almost 2 years as well. Ring rust might bave something to do with his sharpness or lack thereof.

Not gonna lie, I think he could beat Paulie. He needs to use his legs more for power behind his shots.

He can make $15-20M a fight in the UFC. He's the face of that sport. He can continue in boxing if he wants, but who gets him that much? Maybe the winner of GGG/Canelo? Then what?

He should go back to MMA and enjoy his $100M he made tonight.

Everyone won tonight. Floyd got his TKO, Conor did everything but embarrass himself, people who paid were satisfied/entertained, and boxing prevailed.

A rare good night for the sport. Now on to Sep 16, boxings true megafight.

Funny how Floyd never did his normal boxing and showed his skills? he did not because he had power and advantage over him in boxing, the Floyd fans says that you don't need to walk someone down and take punches if you can show your skills but how come Floyd didn't?

The point is if you have power advantage you don't need to box someone and run Floyd finally had that in this fight and took shots and walked down to stop him.

Difference with Pacqauio and May is Pac does this with fighters like cotto/bareera/margo Floyd only does it with a boxing novice like connor who is a fish out of water in the boxing ring

Conor showed some very interesting stuff, he arm dragged Mayweather to get to his side often allowing him to land some short shots. Grabbing the arm across the body to pull yourself through, forcing your opponent via grappling into an angle he can't hit back from. This is what I meant by the MMA clinch. I use it all the time sparring with pure boxers and they never seem to have an answer for it.

I called Conor gassing, Floyd figuring him out and working the body, though I thought he'd use the jab more than the straight right down low. I think it was Conor's hand fighting, the way he constantly kept pawing FLoyd's jab hand making it difficult to time the opening.

I was impressed with Conor's creativity looking to use lomachenko style block breaking to land a big left.

Overall it was a great fight and Floyd needs to ride his billion off into the sunset.

You really think Connor is a better boxer than butterbean? I'm serious..
So now you guys think elite Mma carries over to elite boxer?

Good one bud, they don't have any more to do with each other than football to basketball . But i guess they would be able to compete since both involve a ball going from one end of a court/ field to the opposite side to score..

OP do you realise punches that hit the guard or are evaded don't score?
