Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

Oh well.

The inner child in me wanted to see something extraordinary happen tonight.

Conor dared to be great and gave a great account of himself, he boxed beautifully. If he worked on his stamina he could be a force to be reckoned with in boxing.

Mayweather is 40 years old, there's a reason he's fighting an MMA guy and not defending a belt against Spence or someone like that.

 

I would think getting stopped by PBF would be the biggest embarrasement tbh.. Especially when you are 2 or 3 weight clases above him. Hasn't happened for how long??

The circus is finally over! WWE is better and more legit than this crap! Let Void fight Conor with UFC rules and let's see what happens. Void vs. Conor who was 0-0-0, Void fought a non-boxer, not legit at all. I feel sorry for those fools who bought that fake fight. Conor was not even ranked.

 

If he was playing, why not get him out early and tell everyone "this is my sport!"?

Pretty much everyone figured if Conor didn't catch him with something major within the first few rounds, Floyd would figure him out. That's what happened. I didn't expect him to control the action the first few rounds, but he definitely did and deserves credit for winning his first professional rounds against an ATG. Floyd fought smart and backed up his talk of an exciting fight (for his standards) and didn't let it go to the scorecards (which were of course embarrassing as usual - how do you justify giving Floyd any of the first three rounds, he did absolutely nothing).

 

Only MMA fans and PAC fans see a positive for McGregor's performance

Nah it wasn't fixed. Conor winning the first few rounds was surprising but once I see Floyd come forward I knew it was only a matter of time.

I'm a Pac fan and I wasn't impressed. The fight was the garbage most of us expected it to be.
