Are you really trying to use Hagler/Hearns/Leonard as examples for Floyd vs Conor lol. Floyd is the superior boxer while Conor is a come forward power puncher. Why in the **** would Floyd choose to stay in front of Conor and come forward if he didn't respect Conor's power 1 bit. Are you claiming that Conor would of outboxed Floyd from the distance if Floyd decided to actually box?

I kind of get your point but I'm not sure I'm familiar with the "rapes other dudes in a dungeon" connotation of the word gentleman.

 

If Floyd had humiliated Conor from the first bell and made it look like the mismatch it was there would have been a lot of very angry fans who paid a lot of money for this in the belief it was a legit fight, those same fans would likely not be taken in again by another scam.
But Floyd gave away the first 3 rounds and let Conor get in some shots, now Floyd, Conor, Dana, Oscar, Paulie M and all the other conmen can hold more of these "events" in the future and make vast sums of money in fake, non dangerous "fights".

What significant shots did he land? Floyd is 40 years old and hasn't fought in 2 years, was scared to engage vs Andre Berto for goodness sakes. Yet he stood infront of Conor, walked him down then beat him up. Floyd wasn't hurt or at trouble at all during the fight, the only time he was partially hurt was from a suspect able low blow in the beginning of the 9th.
