Thats right! I want boxingforum 24 to tell me realistic reasons why Sharkey could overcome the SHW behemoth that is Lennox Lewis. Remember, Sharkey outboxed a bigger super heavy in Primo Carnera.

    GO!!!

You mean aside from the fact that he did in fact overcome a fighter the same height and 20 lean pounds heavier than Lewis? There's probably no reason in particular to think it would happen, but there's also no well founded reason to think it's wildly implausible, as opposed to mildly implausible.

(People who harp on weight and nonexistent "scientific training" are in exigent need of a remedial crash course in basic science literacy, statistical fallacies, and propositional logic.)

Does the fight take place in black and white or colour?

Jack Sharkey shows up in black and white.
Lennox Lewis shows up in color.

Sharkey doesn't stand a chance in hell.
    He won't even have muscles.

Lewis too big.....and Sharkey involved in too many losses by strange circumstances.

Would the Lewis uppercut fall up under "strange circumstances" in this case?

Sharkey is one of the few heavyweights from that period who might have had significant success against the modern super heavyweights.

Realistically Lewis is probably a step too far though.

Au contraire. Fighting in B&W automatically confers on him significant boosts in speed, crispness, punching power and resilience.

It is Lewis who stands no chance.

Lewis is fighting in modern color film, he has all the advantages here.

Sharkey was actually yoked. Didn't really translate into power... But he was yoked and that is more important.
