Literally the only decent punch CM landed was that crisp uppercut in the first round. The other punches that landed were pawing tippy-tappy shots. And Floyd toyed with him, using Joe Gallagheresque high-guard, march-forward tactics.

The whole thing was comical. And McGregor gassed harder than plumber Pricey lmao.

 

Guess it's a sign of the times, slowly but surely anything of substance gets reduced to a joke in this age of mediocrity and people accepting the rubbish that is being fed to them. Those great heroic fights that meant everything to the combatants seem a thing of the past. I can only hope the next big one puts this fight to complete shame.

I've never liked Floyd, always thought he was too cocky.

But, after last night, I have to say, I was impressed by what I saw.

Yes, many people will say that Floyd looked bad, should have got him out of there earlier, etc... here's what I saw:

Floyd (at 40, which is ANCIENT for a boxer), coming off 2-years out of the ring, against a bigger, younger opponent...

Those first 3 rounds I thought Floyd was in trouble. Conor was a lot better than I think most people thought he'd be. I believe most of that can be attributed to his style (and some to his size/weight advantage). Conor was giving him some weird angles, switching up his stance, etc... it reminded me a lot of Tyson Fury.

But, Floyd made the adjustments he needed to make and ended up WALKING DOWN the bigger, stronger man. And, finished it in a manner which is not the "norm" for Floyd, by going for the KO.

Does McGregor not realize that small Mayweather purposely walked forward as a sign of total disrespect? McGregor was beaten in the most humiliating way possible.

For those of you that think he did well, convince him to fight the winner of GGG vs Canelo.

Just be advised that McGregor might die in the ring.

There's some Mexican bum called Jose Dildo who's considered an ATG in MMA and this featherfisted McGregory clown knocked him out in 13 seconds.

 

I hope the ppv numbers didn't meet expectations. it didn't seen to have as much hype as aj vs wlad.
