It was absolutely a great victory for Floyd... Floyd the promoter...

 

If the fight had ended after 6, Connor would have ben the clear winner.

But that doesn't mean a thing.

Floyd won, but he took a lot longer than I I thought he would.

 

Floyd couldnt master? lol. You dont need to master **** to follow your oponent in a straightline blocking or eating everythin and walking him down. Yes. Caveman. Foyd is way better than this. Still I understand why he did it that way.

Roberto duran walked in a straight line? lomachenko? lol. Tyson? F tyson, I dont even think he was that good.

 

The most accurate, honest evaluation of the fight I've read. The others on here even lack objectivity when their guy wins, lol. Now that is the definition of pathetic. This fight proved that the gap between boxers and mma strikers is non-existent.

Boxing 1 - 0 MMA

 

Floyd walked the bigger, younger man down and finished him off. Floyd outfought, outthought, and outclassed Mcgregor. It was to be expected by anyone that knows boxing. Of course many people bought into the Mcgregor hype and will now paint this as a moral victory. What's really scary is how age, particularly in boxing, is ignored these days.

 

Exactly, this is what I can't fathom. People are just completely ignoring that Floyd is 40 and waaaaaaaay past his best.

 

Conner swept the first three rounds. He didn't win another round.

 

We were shaking our heads in disgust and dismay at the favoritism shown towards mayweather on the scoring last night.

 

Bringing up an out of shape brain damaged James Toney is clutching at straws.

If Stamina was simply better due to only throwing punches, then why did Conor gas after only 3 rounds?

Conor only went 10 rounds because Floyd decided to fight in front of him in order to carry the him and make it a spectacle after all the hype.

He could have got him out of their after 3 rounds yet he went easy on him while laughing at his punches which had no effect whatsoever.

Let's not forget the 8 ounce gloves turning point which was meant to mean Conor was guaranteed a ko if he landed on Floyd. And yet he was allowed to land on floyd all night and all Floyd did was smile and laugh in his face.

MMA is a joke, similar to your posts on here. Now go back on your mma forum and convince your buddies that MMA is still credible after last night, as no one else outside that bubble takes it seriously as MMA and their tool meathead fans who think rolling around on the floor like a pack of dogs is true fighting.

 

more like floyd gave conor the 1st 3 rounds. he rope a doped conor in the center of the ring.

 

Now imagine what happens to a 40 year old MMA guy when we send our biggest hitter over to f*** him up.

 

Mayweather is done now, movement and timing isn't quite there anymore but he still carried the much bigger man in McGregor for 10 rounds. Never seen Mayweather walk anyone down, he knew McGregor would just punch himself out. His ring IQ is still second to none.

I didn't watch the fight, I got up at 9 and watched it on YouTube. I'm saving my money for a proper fight.
