I shudder to think what those guys would do to Tapout McGregor. By the way guys, there is a world of difference between a sport being recognised by the Olympics and a sport actually being in the Olympics. For instance, sports like Snooker and Darts have been recognised by the IOC for decades, but are still nowhere near being accepted into the Olympics proper. In other words, MMA will never be in the Olympics, not in our lifetimes, probably not ever, so dream on lads.
I'm talking about the modern Olympics. They probably had chariot racing, lion wrestling and slave hunting back then, doesn't mean it is coming back.
I totally understand why your mood would've soured after your bf messed up the gravy. That's totally unforgivable. With regards to my post being ''less than stellar''? Um. Serge doesn't do less than stellar. It just not possible. Even his worst ever posts are outstanding, hence why he regularly racks up more ESB ranking points for single posts than most other forum members on here do in a lifetime of posts. lol you obviously didn't look at the pics of me flexing my bicep. Btw, that was me flexing at only 37% of maximum flex.
Whenever I think of mma fights, this image always comes to mind https://i.ytimg.com/vi/kjNfmiRgADI/hqdefault.jpg
worried? No. Floyd lost those rounds because he was inactive and slow. I think the inactivity was by design, but his speed was due to age.
^ Your opinion. So if cricket has more rules than boxing it's the superior sport? Enlighten me. Absurd. If the boxers actually absorbed punches better, they wouldn't have the damage in the first place. The truth is that boxing matches focus on damage to the head and typically last four times longer than an MMA fight. Furthermore, extra opportunity is given to inflict additional damage through counts. In MMA is a guy gets wobbled, hes typically going down and the fight will be over shortly thereafter. You don't watch MMA so how would you even know? Moving on ... This content is protected That's part 1 of the anthology. Moving on ... Liston, Tyson, Hopkins, Kirkland, Valero, Qawi, Monzon .... do I have to continue? Pot, meet kettle. OK, fine. 1 point to you. C'm on. You can compare them but you can't say which is "superior" except for which is better in a streetfight (MMA, usually) or as a spectator sport ... which is subjective.
I started to worry a little bit, yes. I was thinking McGregor might have been just a little too big for Floyd. It was mostly just adrenalin, though. Ultimately it all worked out the way I thought it would, just more exciting.
I was laughing my butt off knowing Mayweathers girlfriends on here would start complaining and making excuses.
I never implied that it was superior because of the rules, I made that point to highlight the legitimacy of the MMA and one reason why it will never be an Olympic sport. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. So you expect their flesh to be impenetrable and their brains made out of metal? If you hit someone there is going to be a reaction in the physical body unless you are the Terminator. You shouldn't make assumptions. I've made numerous earnest attempts to see what the fuss was all about and actually enjoy mma. I started keeping a close eye on the sport when Ken Shamrock and his brother Frank were the faces of the sport. However every time I sat back and watched I felt as if I was viewing a snuff film and had no choice but to turn it off. This content is protected Getting cut up in the ring and having lasting disfigurement are totally different. All those facial injuries and contusions the fighters recovered from. No lasting deformity on any of the fighters in that video. Anyway we can do one for MMA since you want to play that game. However it is far more gruesome. This content is protected I'm afraid you way well need to continue and I would take my hat off to you if you managed to find enough criminals in boxing as there are in MMA. Considering, as I rightly pointed out to another mma apologist, UFC statistically has far more cases of domestic violence, child abuse, ****, robberies and all sorts crime outside of the ring compared to any other sport out there today. It's in a league of it's own and certainly superior to boxing in that area. Read it and learn what kind of lowly foul beasts are representing the sport. If I showed you all the crimes committed by UFC fighters you'd see for yourself, that they make boxers look like the 12 disciples of Jesus. https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2015/7/...y-mack-war-machine-thiago-silva-travis-browne The street fight argument is irrelevant. We don't watch combat to see men brawl like they are at the back of a car park. We want to see two individuals demonstrate skill, technique, intelligence and respect within the confines of a rule set. Boxing is far more easy on the eye, which is why it finds it with a far greater number of audience and ppv numbers and revenue and more legends than MMA could ever form.
