Wrong. Professional fighters don't fight for the fun of it, because they 'want' to grapple or kick or what the fk ever. They fight to get paid, and they want to mitigate risks as much as possible in the process. If you put any fighter infront of this decision: Be paid 100k to box Be paid 100k to do mma They would choose to box. It's just that they won't ever be paid to box because they are fking bums.
Again more nonsense and fantasy. And you have the audacity to call me delusional Here is the reality It sure sounds like he is living the life after mma and remembering everything! This content is protected Wanderlei Silva Reveals He Has Multiple Symptoms Of Brain Damage ''I fear we do not know all the consequences caused by our profession, and the consequences on the body and mind, as I said to my friends who are pro fighters “This bid to forget things it is good, when you forget the bad things.” (jokes) The sad part is I attended a lecture about concussion (brain injury caused by impact) of 15 symptoms presented by the expert, I have 12! When u lose dehydrates liquid in the brain, much in increasing the chance of having severe brain damage as a result of the blows! “! It has several of my friends, it is very different from the old days” We are stuck half-mad “and now who will take care of us? Who have not saved some money, will go through difficulties unfortunately we do not have any help at all! All on our own!'' http://www.lowkickmma.com/MMA/wanderlei-silva-reveals-he-has-multiple-symptoms-of-brain-damage/ Give it up. Your sport is a joke and has just much possibility as brain damage as Boxing
So why do we think the fight was stopped before McGregor was face down, which exhausted dazed and confused was definitely about to happen. Personally I think the ref and Nevada State commission were genuinely worried about a heavy KO loss as they would then have had serious questions to answer about the safety in their decision to allow a 0-0 novice make his debut against a 49-0 multiple weight world champ.
wrong, they get into it because they are natural competitors fueled by competition, thats the reason one kid goes to the boxing gym and the other joins the wrestling team...neither are getting paid bud. the little kid wants to join the nba because he likes basketball its a passion, you don't have any ability to relate cause your not an athlete, any one who starts sport because of the pay is too old to be successful in that sport. try again
As you can see they treated that poor man like a stray dog. Made him fight 3 times in one night and now he has to take pills to prevent him from beating down on that female reporter. And people want to act like this sport is legit!
lol google warrior listen to what garry goodridge sounded BEFORE mma, he has a speech impediment from birth.. however i never doubted that mma fighers can get cte, any sport that involves head trauma youre suspect to cte... but boxing is much higher that's a fact. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/mixed-martial-arts-safer-than-boxing-study_us_563ce23be4b0411d3070c8d6 and thats showed by mma having far less deaths, face it bud the more barbaric sport is the sport that more people are getting permanent damage and dying from and that's boxing, you can google everything you like but nothing changes the death toll, and the amount of cte. still waiting for those disfigured fighers btw.
Nope, not worried, I found it very amusing and somewhat entertaining. Mayweather was going to win, I never had any doubt, even after the first couple of rounds but the fact McGregor won a couple of (maybe a few) rounds was so funny, I was actually laughing out loud. I didn't care about the stoppage, didn't care McGregor gassed and was getting worked over a little at points after 3 rounds. I gave McGregor more rounds than I gave Pacquiao against Mayweather and that amazing LOL
so you got proven wrong and brought up something irrelevant? lol thats what im here for, without me you would be creating more morons to tarnish boxing by repeating your dumb ass post. but if you must know, i thought conor had no chance, i made money on him winning a round which was my bet, i predicted it to be stopped via body shot in the 7th. why the **** would i bet on conor? he got beat by nate diaz not too long ago in the 2nd round, hes not the best mma fighter, hes just ballsy and brash and has pretty good boxing (for mma standards which is obv not on par with world class specialist in boxing)
I was absolute worried at first. It was just bizarre to watch Floyd get hit so much and he looked kind of shot. I thought it was gonna be Wlad vs Fury all over again. Maybe I just DKSAB tho
Now the back peddling begins You said and I quote ''the guys who retire from mma dont have slurred speach, and they remember who their family members are.'' Now you are saying that you never doubted mma fighters can get cte! No consistency, no facts, no logic and no brain. You belong in the cage! Btw I've never heard of a boxer who needed to pop pills to prevent them from beating the living **** out of random people
Does that still go on today in boxing? The answer is no. Gary Goodridge was made to fight like that onlyt several years ago. And Dana White still treats his fighters like garbage and leaves them broke while he pockets the majority of their purses.
Apples and pears. You have to understand the cross over element that is intrinsic in combat sports. All mma fighters do boxing. Kickboxers box as well. Even if they were amateur kickboxers or mma fighters as pros they would still crossover to boxing if they have the ability to do so, which would allow them to earn much more while taking less risk. But they don't so they won't. And yes we've seen many examples of kickboxers going over to boxing, why I wonder... Your personal attacks are pathetic by the way. Carry yourself like a man or gtfo.
