Weeks was corrupt, he wasnt doing his job, he enabled low blows which gave Ward the opportunity he needed. He practically gave Ward the license to cheat.

In all fairness to Ward, Crusher did initiate the fouling by repeatedly rabbit punching during the clinches.

 

If doubling over from a low blow is justification for more low blows, than I suppose it's okay to rabbit punch if a guy doubles over and tries to drag you to the canvas with him. I do hear if a fighter is hurt, it's okay to foul them to finish the fight.

I am not justifying fouling by either fighter. Fouling is wrong.

Yeah, funny how that works. Somebody should have told Kovalev low blows were legal if your opponent is hurt and bends below the waist.

 

I just watched the video several times, in slow motion, those were three low blows in a row, that fight should not have been stopped. SOB should have been disqualified, but SOB is allowed to cheat.....................in a fair fight Kovalev would knock SOB out. Kovalev is not Trump's hero Putin and he should not be treated as such. The video does not lie, but Weeks and Bob Bennet do!

It appears Andre Ward his figured Sergey out and has his number now. But, if Kovalev retires now, rather than redeem himself against an Adonis Stevenson or Artur Beterbiev, his legacy will suffer immensely.... And Rightfully so.
