2nd video on this post by the excellent @Serge. Judge for yourselves: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/aiba-world-championships.592471/page-2#post-18736989 I don't often make threads about the amateurs, nor do I like to use the word "robbery", but this blatant robbery has me most annoyed.
Thanks Kiwi. Back at you. Yeah terrible robbery. I'll have to watch it again but I thought Tishchenko won the first but he DEFINITELY did not win 2 and 3 and it was blatant robbery.
That's how I saw it too. To me the 2nd and 3rd were pretty one-sided, I don't see how either could have gone to Tishchenko.
He won 2 and 3 clearly and I don't think anyone can argue otherwise. I can't see a case for him losing either of those rounds either such was his dominance in them.
He's won at least 3 decisions in major championships that he didn't deserve, IMO. And I'm sure the number is higher than that too.
Has had 2 or 3 toss up fights against Darren O'Neill that he won in all of them, the man is unbeatable. Nyika was slipping punches well, but it was no match for evgenys slipping of brown evelopes
lol I haven't seen his fights against O'Neil These are the ones that I remember off the top of my head and in order of how big a robberies they were Levit Nvika Savon Levit was the worst because he won all 3 rounds IMO and he hurt him and was arguably denied a KD. The ref also stopped the action and gave him valuable time to recover after he'd been hurt too. Nvika is second because he clearly won 2 rounds and in pretty dominant fashion. His fight against Savon isn't as fresh in my memory as the other two but from what I recall it was close but I still thought he deserved to lose.
Was an Irish judge, if its Gallagher I'm pretty sure he was center of the judging controversy at the Olympics, apparently very dodgy
Were all forgetting that tishchenko is the a side, . ' all about getting the w, by hook or by crook ' Andre ward (2017)
